Got a similar one already - play from SD card/USB without burning disks.

that one looks identical :P? any good?

Nice price for the features, but how tacky does it look??

Voted hot though!

Seems a good price even with the added £4.79 for super saver delivery.

I've fitted a few of this style cheap headunits and they do actually do the job (sd cards & usb memory sticks) well, Especially with decent upgraded speakers. Just dont expect the quality finish or sound quality of an alpine/pioneer/sony etc.

Wow! This deck has evrything i could hope for at a bargain 2! The only thing i'm concerned about is that it ain't branded??? Does that mean it won't be reliable n probably wont sound good? Excuse the grammar..

the reviews look fairly good. theres even a link to HUKD where this was sold before saying one problem is you can go from track 1 - 60 without going thru all the tracks. could be a little bit of a problem!.. but for 40 quid its fairly hard to go wrong?

Yes - but i think the top one looks more identical than the other.

hmm no info on signal to noise ratio

im guessing its not going to be crystal quality, being unbranded at a cheap price, even with 4x50w

and no preouts? so not compatible with amps?
#11
If its anything like one a work mate bought, it cant handle folders and takes ages to load the file tree before play.

Probably best to pay some more for a quality brand that accepts usb if there are any?
#12
Looks decent in terms of functionality but if it's a pain to use I think you'd be better spending more on a better one. Shame.

I owned the model down from this (it was a Tevion radio with SD etc) and it cost me £35. I would recommend that and therefore this to anybody - sure, it may not support folders, but does that really matter when you're paying £40 for it?
As I said, I would recommend this radio to anyone who wants to start putting their music onto SD or USB, or just wants a cheap radio that they can connect their iPod to.
If you wanted a 'better one' you'd be looking at around £80-£90, so this is damn good for the price guys!
For £40 this is a bargain, hot!

i've been wanting to get one of these for some time, most of them only support 2gb sd and flash cards, some have reported to take 4gb but they will slow down the stereo...

i'm not sure on the max on this one but 2gb isn't that much
#15
i have this stereo,
if you connect to a screen then you can scroll through mp3 files/folders very quickly (takes ages when not connected to screen tho)

Solution: get 2 cards (or more)

I would like to suggest this as a cheaper alternative.

Got one of these a few months ago. With VAT & Postage came to £35.00.

Great stereo and for the price it does everything you could ask for (apart from video).

Think your link points to your shopping trolley with your address on - you live in Exeter? May want to alter that.

Yes, I've had this model ( maybe the model before which was exactly the same) and it took a lifetime to load an iPod containing under 100 songs.

It broke after a month or two. It crashed when loading an iPod and ejecting a CD at the same time, and the CD loader stopped working.

You can't skip folders on this thing - you have to go track by track.
