Thinking about getting it for myself - though may hold out for Prime Day to see what is on offer. Any notable issues with your phone?

The battery could be better but I do seem to have it playing contest of champions for hours without any major power drain. You can't replace it as its a built in one. Can get a case on amazon for £15. Comes with a clear gel case and a screen protector already installed. Gel case doesn't overlap screen so you cant place phone face down. Anything else you wanna know?

I had been looking at the Moto G5 but with extra storage and quite a bit cheaper, this might be what I plump for
#5
Did it come with much bloatware installed, or is is standard android stuff?

It is fast. I keep forgetting to close apps down as I haven't noticed any performance drop. Huge upgrade from my galaxy s2. Does feel huge though

Standard android. I haven't found any crap on there so far and I've had it for over a fortnight

Any drawbacks to this phone Ace?

Not used to the size of it yet. It's a beast. It's definitely a phablet. My lack of proper case. But that's me being a cheapskate. Can't think of anything else atm.

LOL correct big but am on crappy phone so didn't see that! But thanks Ace, have now ordered it. Prob take time to adjust to size increase as well, going from 4.7 so should be interesting... Hopefully Kodi runs smooth. Any probs with installing apps from G Play? Some Chinese phones dont allow all the apps?

Its actually a UK company. Phone built in china though. Every app has installed. Runs on o2 network. I haven't installed kodi yet but I will.

If you aren't the timid type and don't worry about the lack of warranty the rather excellent 3gb/32gb Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Version (Band 20 but no NFC) can be had for similar money (by this mean 110 quid and not the 130 quid this mobile has gone back up to, if 130 quid is your limit you can get the Xiaomi with 4GB/64Gb for that money). Because it's from a major manufacturer cases and tempered glass screen protectors are not only in plentiful supply but also cheap as chips...
