$5 - $9 shirt sale @ Threadless

Really nice t-shirts - a few $5, and pages of $9 tee's to choose from.
Shipping is usually $9. So for 3 shirts at $9 a pop = £7.80 each delivered :)

Remember: don't order too much (no more than 4 shirts) to avoid import charge stings...

Good t-shirts, but be careful re: getting stung on import duty if you order a load.
#2
Hot from me, usually stock up when they have a sale and exchange rate is marginally better than it was.
#3
Its saying $15 for shipping not $9
#4
I ordered three t-shirts and shipping was only $9
#5
Thanks op, heat added, never used this site before but have ordered three t-shirts and shipping was also $9.

Going to be honest. A crap selection comepared to their boxing day sale. Im gonna wait till then/
#7
Not another threadless sale. Oh the temptation may prove too much. Thanks for the heads up!

The quality is crap, when I bought my first ones they was great I still got em, fruit of the loom shirts they are, half cotton, poly, then they got greedy and went to india and got their own made, they all look raggerdy and worn out quickly and discoloured. They are total junk quality.

If you want to avoid any customs fees, best to keep it to 2 tshirts, any more and its likely going to be caught. Good deal though!

what if i like more than 2 t shirts?

people have mentioned you may get stung and to keep the order low, but say i like 5/6 t shirts should i order it 3 times and pay $9 shippping times 3? which is $27 or just pay $9 and hope i dont get caught or get charged a few £ if i do. honestly some people are so tight. why not just buy plain t shirts from primark and copy the design onto them yourself if your worried about a few quid.
#11
Not much choice for the smaller sized t-shirts -.-

Don't they charge you depending on the value of your item? I was charged £12 customs tax on my first order (years ago) with a value of $36. If the tax works out cheaper than multiple order delivery then go for it, otherwise make sure the value is under £18 and you won't be charged.

I got the newsletter for the sale but I have too many tees and no money at the moment :( I'm upset.

As above, its not being tight at all, you just have to weigh up whether ordering seperately is better to do. Not only do you get charged tax ontop, but the delivery companies charge more than the tax in handling fees alone. If you're looking at ordering loads of tshirts, it might work out better doing them together - if you want 3-4 of them, then its probably better doing it over 2 orders.

I think you need to remember what this site is all about - saving money. Or should we say, why should this deal be posted at all (along with all the others), stop being so tight and order outside the sale, its only a few quid.

I ordered 3 large mens tshirts and shipping was $15
#16
Ordered from the site for the first time. Two large t-shirts, shipping $9. $27, not bad overall really

If you want an idea of potentially how much duty you will need to pay the value of the items usually has to be over about $60 (this used to be right) and you will then need to add 17.5% VAT to the total order and shipping costs. When you then have that total you need to add another 3% as an import charge. Hope this helps someone

Great, thanks for posting mamboboy. I love threadless tee, so gonna have a good rummage round as they'd make great Christmas prezzies 8)

Baaad timing, I'm heading to Chicago in a couple of weeks. I paid a visit to the store a few years ago and filled my empty case :)

Agree with this - the quality has gone really downhill in the last couple of years. The T-Shirts are really lightweight now and make grown men look like they're smuggling peanuts.

Given I tend to wear t-shirts when it's warmer, I prefer the light-weightedness of their shirts to a number of UK made ones.

2 more to add to my collection :)
#22
Love threadless, but have no money to fritter away on stylish t-shirts. Gah!

Heat added anyway!
#23
You will have to pay VAT if the order value (including carriage) is over £18, and also customs duty on an order value over £135 (but the duty will be waived if it is less than £7 or £9 depending on which bit of the HMRC website you read) . If duty is payable the VAT is charged on cost of goods + carriage + duty. Then the Post Office make a handling charge.
#24
What are the differences between the "Threadless tee" and the "American Apparel" one. Is one better quality than the other?
1 Like #25
The RM "handling charge" is £8, double what it was a few years back. Anything over £18 may be charged this plus VAT at 17.5% on the value of the items.

No problems with the quality here, I have loads of them on Threadless and American Apparel.
#26
Agreed that the t-shirts are poor quality compared to a few years ago. Now they are really thin and the designs fade quickly.
#27
The current official exchange rate is 1.5594, so an order value of up to $28.06 excluding delivery should be fine.

still have my fruit of the loom stirts, the american apparel ones are ok but not as good, but the threadless tee ones i've had are junk, total junk JUNK, and more JUNK, dont buy them I warn you. All look like cheap rags after 20 minutes of wear and shrink.
#29
I've ordered 3....don't think the missus will be too happy though, as my wardrobe is full of Threadless t-shirts already!

Agreed most of my recent purchases have shrunk, nice pattern but when 50% get wrecked just through washing it doubles the price, also the round neck cut isn't my favourite.

same for me - $15 shipping. I tried 4 shirts and then reduced my order to 3 shirts and the shipping stayed the same (at $15)

4 shirts at $9 each with shipping worked out at $51 (approx £33 - £8.25 each) for me
#32
...before any potential import tax

might give it a miss this time - already have a wardrobe of threadless shirts collected over the past 5 years :)
#33
It was $9 shipping for me!
#34
All the good ones are sold out.

Like the Queen looking like Joker.
#35
Its finished now :-( I could only get $9 shipping if I had 2 items, as soon as I went to 3 it went to $15, so its cheaper to do 2 or 4 t shirts, unfortunately as had been mentioned 3 is the sweet spot for not paying VAT, so I went for 2.

Anyone know of any good UK based sites that do similar cool t shirts?
