Good deal, used last night :)
#5
Looks like they are realising that their massively overpriced burgers are not working in the "credit crunch"

Tasty I agree... but c'mon... it's just a burger..
#6
Used this last week..you need a voucher per person

Burger King are a total rip off. It is FAR too expensive.

Went when it was BOGOF and I really wasn't impressed. might give it another chance. Would NEVER pay full price for one though!

i find their burgers too dry, also i am kind of put off with their burgers since the last 2 i had, had huge chunks of gristle in it(which is proof they use proper meat but it really is off putting), other than that they are nice chips are awesome..this is a very good deal *heat added*

Burger King? How about GBK? Nice of you to read the thread! You look VERY silly now

I don't think you can beat GBK burgers, they are lovely. Just VERY VERY pricey.

Agreed. Their Prices look even more insane if you're competent enough to make your own which I do with cheap mince from my local butchers. Still my sister raves about them and I've always been tempted to give them a go so now I will.

dont care how nice their burgers are £6 is mental.. much cheaper to make an equally great tasting burger.

If the details here are correct (average burger is £7 alone, fries are £2.75) then 2 x burger + 2 x fries would be £12.50 with BOGOF burger voucher (not BOGOF fries), £11.90 with this voucher.

However if you don't want 2 x fries, then 2 x burger is just £7 with BOGOF.

Also BOGOF is Sunday to Thursday, this is all week.

So depends what you want to buy and when for which is better offer, and it's pretty close depending on exactly which burger you choose.

Yeah but if I take a burger for a packed lunch it goes cold, and the initial cost and ongoing expenses of setting up a kitchen to cook high quality burgers in in a central town location away from my home is outrageous. It's almost like meals out and meals cooked at home should be treated as two completely separate sort of deals! I guess at least if I did set up that kitchen I could sell my burgers to other people for a few quid though, maybe recoup some of my costs, maybe even make a small profit. I think you may have just given me a revolutionary new money making idea.

Kind of missing the point! This is a restaurant so you are eating out - what doesnt cost more at a restaurant???

Of course it costs more but there's a limit £7 just for a burger is insane to me. Usually if I eat out and pay for something I'm quite happy to in part cause it's convenient and it's something I can't quite replicate at home, but a burger? I can throw together one of those in the time it'd take me to get a takeaway at my local GBK.

At this price it's not much more than any other takeaway and seems like relatively good value. Call me cheap if you like but I wouldn't pay like £4 quid for a portion of chips for instance and similarly I cannot bring myself to shell out £7 on a burger.

The Kiwi burger is highly recommended...fried egg, pineapple and beetroot on top...yum yum! :w00t:

i'm amazed that you're shocked about a burger costing several pounds- this is not burger king for goodness sake. anyway, in a normal restaurant, a burger would more than likely cost a tenner, if not more. on top of that, although i am particualrly fond of homemade burgers, they are incomparable to eating out.
