I appreciate the list but these are all price matches of Play and HMV but without quidco and the lack of a direct link is awquard. Amazon is such an old site, it really needs a revamp.
#2
I use quidco all the time but if a price is the same on Amazon as it is on HMV or Play then I always use amazon. It turns up quicker than elsewhere and if there is a problem their customer service is second to none!
#3
Not a bad price, there are about 10 I want from those mentioned but I will wait a till they drop a little more in price. £5 is the most I have paid for any of the 50 Blu Ray's I have so far ( Box set £5 per disk) and I don't intend to pay any more
#4
You could have put a brief description of each film after its title. Honestly some people are so lazy. :whistling:

H'n'R

I agree with the comment about amazons customer service - brilliant - never had a problem that they haven't resolved to my complete satisfaction or in one case - far beyond my expectations.
#5
I always shop at Amazon now for BR's and boxset DVD's, plus Nectar points is better than nowt.

Final Destination 1 is also £5.99.

No longer use one of the other two, as they decided to send me a returned item complete with finger prints. and what I hope was a chocolate stain on the disk!

Funny you should say that but I have had stuff come from Play completely different from the item ordered. All in all about 4 times in the last good few years I have used them. I really am too busy to waste time sending them back and have often just taken the hit.

Thanks.

Amazon is my preffered e-tailer too.

Some pile of junk you must have in your collection if none of them are more than £5 each.

Couldn't agree more. I have 10 blu-rays so far and got most for just over a fiver.
No crap ones either e.g. American Ganster, Kung Fu Hustle, Pan's Labyrinth, etc.

I've already spent enough amassing over 300 DVDs so I'm not going to shell out a small fortune upgrading them to Blu-ray. ;-)

If everyone holds on till the prices drop, the retailers will have no option but to lower their prices.

Listed some of the £5 or under Blu Rays I have bought recently. Almost all were mentionioned on this forum in the past, some were missed priced (cheapest Rambo 3 £1.50) but still supplied at the price they quoted. I also got Quidco cash back on most of them. Dual Boxed sets £9.99 triples £14.99. I do agree a couple are junk ( Starship Trooper 2 + 3) but the box set of 3 was very cheap.

Yup as I thought, majority of them junk that can be had easily for around £5. Nothing special and certainly nothing to get excited about.

I'll stick with what I said. You will be waiting for a long time for a lot of quality blu rays if you won't pay more than £5 each.

I disagree with you thoughts, as I mentioned earlier a couple were not that good but most of them are certainly watchable more than once. I don't buy films just for myself, I buy for my children and family so some won't be to everybodys taste. Of the ones mentioned in the original post about 8 are on my to buy list.

Once again a post about a potential bargain descends into arguments about personal choice and opinion rather than sticking to the whole point of the site!

For anyone that's interested there's a new post about hdmi leads.

having a list of current deals is much easier to view then 10's of different individual threads.
