Can't use your Electron card for these. Need to get pre-paid Mastercard or pay extra for credit card purchase.

Interesting. Is that specific to this £5 offer?
Table of fess page still clearly states Electron payments are processed at zero cost.

I'm sorry sir you seem to be wearing a shoe on each foot, and have both of your eyes in working order, that will be a £350 surcharge please, its all in the small print sir.

Might get cold in here :)

are these the flights where they give you the oars to row yourself into the sky

Worst airline in the world.

How amusing. That's the funniest thing I have read since the last time a highly trained comedian posted on a Ryanir thread. It's the superb originality of your thinking that I value so highly. I shall be chuckling all the while on my £10 all in return flight.:-D.

I still like ryanair!! if you have no kids and are just going for a short trip with no baggage you can get really cheap flights. I've been on loads of holidays last year thanks to them lol. Bit annoyed about them changing the no fees to the mastercard though! got a visa electron especially.

I disagree. It's the best airline in the world for me and it's the ONLY airline which brings me from Leeds to Dublin for 2p (1p each way)! My bus ticket to the aorport is more than that.

They can do this because they make their money on freight. That's why the lagguage costs are so high. Less lugguage = more commercial freight. It's as simple as that.

as the current table of fees page is still showing zero cost associated with Electron payments, I can see even more frustrated flyers !
quote from press release dated 30 Nov 2009:
"...will accept the MasterCard Prepaid card as its free form of payment from 1st December and its Visa Electron promotion will end one month later on 31st December. From 1st January the Visa Electron payment card will attract a €5 administration charge while MasterCard Prepaid will become the sole free from of payment on Ryanair.com."
Does the last seven words of that p-r suggest there are other methods? Don't know. Don't care. Bye bye Ryanair.

nothing wrong with Ryanair... just play the game and travel europe for pennies
#12
I agree. If you play the game then you come out top. The only problem I had was because of a mistake I made. If you follow the rules you are laughing.
We have flown with them 4 times in 2009. That's 16 flights at a total of 16p.
I try to hang out for the 1p ones.

I take ryanair flights as a test of endurance, a true bargain hunter will pass!
My eight year old son really wanted to fly and actually asked for a plane trip for his birthday last year, who but the super rich and those that understand the ryanair game can afford such luxurious gifts for their offspring, we seriously went to Germany for £4, and splashed out £40 for 2 nights hotel - stll cheaper than a party package in the local ball and botulism joint and a lot more memorable

Can Anyone reccomend a prepaid mastercard so i can book a flight saving some fees,i like the look of the lastminute one which is free but has a min £75 reload value which is to high for my modest neads
#15
Caxton Fx is the best for no hidden charges, quidco too, and no worries as it's run by the Newcastle BS
#16
Why do people knock Ryanair if you don't like them don't travel on them.I suspect most of the wingers have never even flown Ryanair.I went to france for D-Day last year for 5 days £1 there £1 back same for the wife £4 all in no fees no surcharges nothing how anyone can knock that is beyond me.

pm me and i will post. OR before we both get in trouble PM a mod.

HOT DEAL btw. if people cant be bothered reading the T+Cs why bitch about paying for luggage, or CC charges etc. if they had more sense than money they would read them wouldnt they? I LOVE RYANAIR.

Not sure how or why this is cold, can anyone find cheaper?;-)

I think most who vote cold on Ryanair deals are those that have not read the terms and conditions properly and been stung with extra charges,Or they have never used Ryanair.

If you just fancy and cheapie flight and have no particular location in mind I've found in the past that if you use the MSE flight checker it usually works out which ryanair flights have added charges and which don't, saving you working your way through the front page - or does anyone know of a quicker way?
