need to vote this cold on principle, even at free, 1 less egg than last year and who ever heard of selling 5 eggs, they will all be at it if we accept this and changing the recipe of the chocolate. Companies read sites like this so vote it down. :)

Kraft chocolate is the same as their cheese. Plastic.
I'm boycotting them this year.

Voting hot for two reasons;
1 Principally because this is a good deal.

2. To raise awareness that Cadburys Creme Eggs have changed the chocolate from Dairy Milk.
I for one am boycotting them.
The arrogance of the company statement is apparent:
"The Creme Egg has never been called the Cadbury's Dairy Milk Creme Egg. We have never played on the fact that Dairy Milk chocolate was used"

If Humpty dumpty was made from cheap Kraft chocolate, I certainly wouldn't take another look at him. Cadbury's Creme Egg, how do you kill yours?

I read something similar last night... Whats your thought on this...

"Monday 12 January 2015 will go down in confectionery history as a bad day. A hurtful day."

Seems to suggest that as of that date they won't be making them using Cadburys, and thus, if this is Christmas stock, it might still be the old ones?

I'm sure ALDI does an alternative.

Very disappointed in the whole situation. I for one will not be buying any this year.
#22
Voted cold just because Cadbury's have become one of the greediest money grabbing organisations in existence!

On a recent visit to Cadbury's World with an excited 10 year old - the greatest part of the tour was spent in one of many queues making our own entertainment. Overpriced on the ticket price, shop more expensive than the supermarket, it was boring and they had the cheek to say about "staff welfare" from their original roots as a family run business - when as they're now trading as Kraft, they're very far apart from this... boycotting all purple labelled products in future!!!
#23
Sod Kraft for tinkering with a British classic. I and my family will not be buying any this Easter. Will not be tempted by this free offer either! :-(
#24
First off they have dropped 3 and 6 packs for a 5 pack, the rrp of 5 and 6 pack arent the same. £2 is an offer price. So they arent charging the same for 1 less egg.

The easter egg is still £1.50, tesco still do 3 for £1 and 12 for £4 (the easter eggs for 75p and 12 eggs for £2 will be back again)

Inflation happens and all products need to increase in price, get smaller or use cheaper ingredients, thats life.

Although im sure people have seen how biased peoples tastes are when they have already decided to hate something., why not just try it

How does voting hot raise any awareness of point 2 at all?

Free is free and thats what the voting should have been about as its a deal. Doesnt matter if you buy them or not... im sure the op is wondering why they even bothered. Least it wasnt a one hit wonder tesco deal!!!

Once gathered enough Hot votes, it will gain a greater audience by appearing on the front page of HUKD, and no one can resist looking at Cadbury's Creme Egg thread (after all you read it!)

I have some creme eggs left from last year so am going to do a blind taste test on the family.

I know everyone's moaning about it, IMO they can sod off and leave the free chocolate to those who'll at least try to enjoy it!
#31
Quidco want to see if you actually notice the difference!

I don't like cadburys chocolate since craft took over, it tastes like they're adding too much sugar and not enough cocoa beans. I'll stick to quality chocolate.

limit of a 1000 probably means more than that have already uploaded their receipt
#37
You all seem to miss an important point here. This deal is nothing more than a gamble. Unless you are one of the first 1000 to take Quidco up on this offer you wont get your money back.
That's why I voted cold.

I'm fine with prices rising, thats obviously inevitable. But I'm not fine with products shrinking or quality reducing, in the hope that we're to stupid to notice. If they get much smaller they won't be worth buying full anyway.

That roll over and accept it attitude is the reason they could get away with buying Cadbury in the first place.

Anyone having problems uploading a receipt? Just says 'uploading' for me and tries to download a file to my computer?
