LONDON GATWICK - MARMARIS, DALAMAN AREA

Sat 8 Oct 2016 13:50-19:55

Sat 22 Oct 2016 21:00-23:10

Plus a possible 3.5% cashback with Quidco.

4.5 On TripAdvisor

Also available on the 10th from Luton, Stansted & Gatwick, slightly more expensive @£454 but with better flight times.

We booked the 10th from Luton because it's only a 1hr drive from us, plus it's a 7am flight going & 14:30 coming back, so you ain't hanging around the hotel on your last day waiting to leave, I hate that.

Been to Marmaris a couple of years ago and said then that I'd never go back, bloody horrible place.

But that said, this hotel is a fair distance away from Marmaris itself and by all accounts in a decent area and more importantly a decent looking hotel, plus it's what I can afford at the moment.

"official Thomson spiel"

The hotel has a great spot between Marmaris and Icmeler. Its nearest neighbours are a pine forest and a private beach kitted out with sunlounger-filled jetties. Plus, there are shops and bars 5 minutes’ walk away.

There are four pools, each with a different pace, and seven restaurants, including an Italian à la carte. In the evenings, two venues – the amphitheatre and the beach – host live music and shows.

Price reflects it's Turkey, it's 2016, it's not safe. Plus don't look 5 star to me, but has great reviews on Tripadvisor :{

It don't look like a 5* Hotel to you and it ain't safe. Thanks to your insightful and in-depth review, I'm going to cancel this holiday right away, and once again, many thanks.

No honestly please don't. If you like going on holiday to be in shade, eat halal food and run the possibility of risking your life for a cheap holiday. Please keep your booking

Went here last year when Turkey was safe. Amazing hotel although probably not in the best of locations for things to do. The all inclusive food was also great both for vegetarians and non vegetarians so id say the 5* rating does indeed reflect the hotel well.

As for the price, i went for 7 nights and paid just under 300pp last year when all was good. Country does seem unstable right now so not sure when id go back.

Don't know why people feel the need to post such negative comments on here. Understand if they are commenting specifically about the food, rooms etc I would hazard a guess that the majority of people reading the deal watch the news or read papers and can reach a decision about whether they think Turkeys safe all by themselves lol
Think this is a great price for 14nights. Would love to go again for 3rd time this year but think my boss would be a tad annoyed:(

The Yank's are also planning to build a wall that would be visible from the top of Trumps head.

I went to the same hotel nearly five years ago for a similar price.

Back then it defiantelly wasn't a 5 star hotel.
You either stay in a main hotel building right above the dinging area (if too close to it than I recon it might be quite noisy during meal times).
We were located on floor 5 I believe so the only disadvantage was smell from the kitchen.

Well that and a toenails of presumably previous gests of our room.

The second option is to stay in a bangalows aroud the main hotel.
Those are apparently occupied already by other gusts (insects of a interesting proportions!). These are a little distance away from the main dining area and you need to climb some stairs to get there and back.

Beach was quite disappointing with little to no sand (stones mainly) although the wooden pier, bar staff and evening entertainment (live music) was pretty good!
Same goes with views!

I hope you'll enjoy your stay!

Cheers mate.
Bug's I can handle, it's the Mozzies that ruin a holiday for me, as for the beach, I think they've had Travis Perkins in to sort that out since your last visit, it looks rather nice in the 2016 pic's.

I know this hotel is normally 1 of the less expensive (so called) Thomson 5* and when I get back I'll give it an honest as possible review for anyone who's remotely interested.

Tempted to give this a go, usually go to Lara beach in Antalya, don't think this would be up to there standards but it is half the price compared to Lara beach.
