Handy. I often need a combined hammer and compass when out driving.

I can't help thinking that the compass might not work after the hammer had been deployed.

I really dont think that it is at all helpful for people to take the P*** out of deals that people bother to post as they will probably not post in the future and then we all lose out !
If you dont think it is any good then vote cold and make a sensible comment.
Perhaps if you were trapped in your burning car with your wife and children you would think
the deal wasn't so bad afetr all!!

Shouldnt this be renamed "5 in 1 handy car nicker accessory"?

"This handy device comes with a tyre pressure gauge to see how much air is left in the tyre you have just slashed, and also an emergency hammer ideal for when you see a satnav unit you fancy and need to smash that little side window (you know the one we mean), a light so you can see where your girlfriend has just been sick in the back(after 10 cans of cider) of the car you are joyriding in,a tyre depth gauge that as all your tyres are bald you wont need and finally a compass for when you break out of nick to find your way home."

Sorry if everybody is unhappy with this, i just thought £4 was quite a good deal and didn't see the harm in posting it.

Thanks for defending me Jono1 :)

Its a good deal my friend , i have a similar item in my car its from poundland and just has the hammer and the knife to cut the seatbelts

A electronic tyre pressure gague would cost around £7 on its own

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that people are becoming a little too sensitive in these threads! I like reading the humorous banter associated with items, and it usually only becomes nasty when people cannot see the humour.
(Equally I think it is pretty disappointing when people immediately come back on after posting a deal and say "why is everyone voting this cold?". At the end of the day, the really good deals end up hot, the really bad ones end up really cold, and for the rest it is just a bit random, depending on the mood at the time of posting.)

Back to this item - I think it is a good deal, but think I can probably manage without buying one. Thanks to the OP for posting it, and thanks to some of the others for the witty replies!

As the prime culprit, I must point out that I was making fun of the product not the deal and certainly not the OP. I apologise if anyone felt ridiculed.

Sometimes a product strikes me as being either a bit odd (as in this case) or cretinously pointless (inflatable gaming chairs with speakers, and chocolate fountains are two that spring to mind).

If someone does manage to save his/her family's life with one these then please let me know and I will eat my hat (and post the evidence on YouTube).
