"This handy device comes with a tyre pressure gauge to see how much air is left in the tyre you have just slashed, and also an emergency hammer ideal for when you see a satnav unit you fancy and need to smash that little side window (you know the one we mean), a light so you can see where your girlfriend has just been sick in the back(after 10 cans of cider) of the car you are joyriding in,a tyre depth gauge that as all your tyres are bald you wont need and finally a compass for when you break out of nick to find your way home."

How negative hehe
Use it for, how much preasure is in the spare tyre that you've never checked till now, when you need it, a hammer to whack the darn satnav when you get sick of the voice, after you turn up yet another dead end, a light so you can see the CD you droped in the footwell whilst changing it on the M1 doing 70 at night, very handy, tyre gage for nail cleaning, girls, and a compass, cause your satnave is bust, :)

a hammer is the worse idea ever, when has anyone ever needed a hammer in a car?

I think the idea is it's for use as a glass hammer, say you roll your car and can't get out as the window is closed as long as you can reach your multi-tool gizmo you could break the window and climb out... hey presto life saved (possibly)

Or as already mentioned handy if something in your car gets you mad you now have something to hit it good with! :-D

so you happen to have it in your hand at the time of rolling?

It is VERY hard to roll a car these days as they have somthing fitted called, er, oh yeah an anti roll bar.

ermmm the anti-roll bar is only protection to stop you being squished if you roll it dosent stop you rolling it.

Have you tried rolling one then??? Also, lots of 4x4's/People carriers are quite easy to roll (Renault Espace for instance I know I've done it!) and only the newest cars have those certain features, and there are such things as gloveboxes you know unless you were pinned down (which you'd be screwed anyway) you could grab your hammer from the glovebox and smash the window.
