Big up to tworomegolf for posting the deal on the 1-litre Super S a few days ago. Went to local store (Huddersfield) and bought the last 1-litre bottle, and noticed "New" price stickers (NOT Rollback stickers) on all the Mobil engine oils in 5 litre containers.

Super S (10W-40, semi-synthetic) is £22, ESP (5W-30, fully synthetic) is £32, and 1 (0W-40, fully sythetic) is also £32. I took phone shots of all three stickers. They might even work ...

mobil 1 will be 4 litre - they are 19.99 + vat if you live near and have membership to a costco

I thought the same, but checked the ticket and the bottle, and unless I've become numerically dyslexic, they both said 5L. It seems that Mobil now do all their oils in 5-litre containers, including Mobil 1. I'd guess that's a response to maket forces, since I don't know many modern engines that take only 4 litres to fill.

Voted hot - just got a 5 litre carton of Mobil 0W-40 fully synthetic for £32 from my local Asda. As the OP said, it's not marked up as reduced, just the normal shelf price, and it is a 5 litre carton.

Is this for petrol or diesel?

I saw Castrol 5L fully synth 0-30w under 30 quid at Tesco. Standard price even. Should've bought one can - will do next week.
