Superb quality transfer of audio and video signal digitally. HDMI cables are used to connect an audio video device with an HDMI output to a Plasma, LCD TV, Surround Sound Processor or projector with an HDMI input. The picture will look synoptical which ever HDMI cable you use, offering the cable is adequate of sending the signal without too much release. An HDMI cable with too much loss will be instantly obvious as the image will look like it has white dots all over it, referred to as 'sparklies'.

Features

Length: 5 Metre
Nitrogen gas-injected dielectric with quad-shielding for maximum signal strength.
Delivers Up to 1440p Digital HDTV.
Male to Male Connection
Mylar Backed Foil

Good price for a 5m cable although getting towards the limit of what a cheap cable can manage.

Just one question. What does "The picture will look synoptical" mean?

Maybe supposed to say "similar". The rest of the sentence is complete bullplop also"

Is this with a 1080p signal?

The cheaper cables can start to have problems with 1080p over very long lengths, but are more than adequate for 720p, as my projector will gladly demonstrate :)

Correct me if i`m wrong but as far i know hdmi is a digital interface and it doesn`n matter if its cheap cable or expensive one - it just working or not working, end of story. The only difference is a build quality.

However the cheapest ones have terrible build quality but i think there is no reason to buy hdmi cable more expensive than 15 quid.

he/she was referring to cheap cables which are long. Longer cables may need repeaters, which cheaper cables may not have, but I dont think this is an issue at 5m. I think thats correct anyway!

Ohh yes the picture will have that synoptical look, this is exactly what I was looking for, no point buying a hdmi cable unless its got the synoptical. Its all about the synoptical, HOT DEAL!!

I have no idea what it is but I just know I want it

Yeah thats your experience, but the facts are anything over 5mt (id say) CAN fail.

The problem is it depends on the source thats sending the HDMI signal for example my laptop works fine over 10mt cable but my LG390 BR Player fails.

These should be fine but I wouidnt recommend banking on long cable runs working esp if chasing around the home.

The perfect bargain accessory to use it with

:-D

And yes, anything over 5m experiences degredation in digital signal, also depends on the devices used to whether you would see it or not. There have been tests on HQ cables and cheaper brands and show it does happen
