Awesome, I think I'll keep it in the garden.

It's snow-proof, right?
#2
Does it affect your buildings insurance if you take out walls/ceilings.?
#3
Now don't exaggerate - it's only 5.44 meters high
#4

Didn't see the point of a 5m high speaker!!

I would have expected DSGi to have offered this long before Comet/Laskys.

Just imagine that Currys expert explaining the benefits of a 5.4m speaker to Jo Public :p

Don't be daft who wants a TV that's only one third the height of the speakers?

The satellite speakers are little more than an inch square. Saw this in comets at the weekend and the sound is very impressive for such little speakers.

I hope the power button's at the bottom. If not, does it come with a ladder?

Im no mathematician but I think the fact that visually the depth is not much less than the height would give most people a bit of a clue that this is a typo... :whistling:

I could put it in my garden, but I would have no space left!!

Maybe it was made by giants like the BFG :D

Look at the picture - the controls are all on the top - but there is a remote control included; unfortunately it's half a meter long - but at least you won't loose it :)

I listened to one of these in the shop and the sound was really bad. I even found this for just over £200 at the time. I have been told they sound great but like I say the demo I was given was shockingly bad.

Why is this cold? It is a good deal for 3 HDMI inputs. Can you please advise a better home cinema system at this price?

yeh, its the size that counts
#27
I think it's quite amusing all the posts patiently explaining the real dimensions of the subwoofer unit ;-)

If we want to be serious this seems a good price for this set and on the face of it it appears a very good system with the tiny speakers; but no matter how small the speakers you'll still need speaker wires and that's the bothersome unsightly part of these systems - (it'll look a little bizzare having a set of monster cables into these teeny things!) - also the display on the sub unit is upward facing meaning you have to have it close by to be able to use it.
#28
the sub also produces the mid-range of the sound so that is why that is huge and the other speakers tiny...
