Superdrug are selling books of 1st class stamps with a 5% discount until 14th Feb.

You have to ask for these at the till, & whilst they do this quite frequently, there's often no signs up instore (well in my local anyway).

New deal to me, Thank you voted HOT

Just google 'discount stamps' and you'll find better offers than this.

If they say on them 1st class as opposed to a price, then they are a bargain as they are inflation proof.
The price of stamps may increase but if they say 1st class on them, they will always be accepted as first class.

Have you tried this, as I was told the NUS 10% off excluded stamps, mobile top-up cards & prescription medicines?

This is on standard and large letter 1st class. According to the branch I went in it is a 2 week only offer (1st - 14th Feb). The previous 5% off offer had finished, it's not a long running deal, they generally do it near 'events' - christmas, valentines, mothers day etc.

If the op saw it in the store (the same as I did) then he shouldn't need to give credit to anyone else!!

The stamps are just 1st class as they are in books. I think the colour changes when the Post Office puts the price up, but the stamps stay valid for 1st class postage however old they are.

Thank you, yes I noticed this while shopping for throat sweets yesterday. I know they do the offer periodically so I always look out when I'm in there.

It is a new promotion running again like at Christmas. The stamps are normally just marked 1st class so when the cost of stamps increase in April (I think I saw that on Royal Mails web site) it makes them even more of a bargain.

Cool- got a book of 12.

It's a good deal because in April stamps are going up in price. So in effect, buying now from Superdrug will save 5 pence per stamp.
