Lidl sell newspapers too, so just add that to your trolley and rip it out whilst doing the shopping ;-)

For us Scots, the voucher is in the Daily Record too.

Worth noting that Tesco DO NOT ACCEPT LIDL vouchers anymore, so not worth the hastle of trying it there.

My local Tesco still accepts them. Probably depends on whether there is a Lidl store nearby. The nearest one is less than 3 miles away from this Tesco.

I'm surprised that your Tesco takes them.
They are cracking down on using vouchers.

The official line from tesco is that all vouchers are acepted bar Farm Foods. Anything else not allowed is the stores decision.

Where is your proof of that "official" line?

Here is my prrof that would suggest otherwise!

Walter:

Hi Terry,

Can you enlighten me as to the latest revision of your customers conditional voucher policy?
Is there still a policy?
Are Lidl vouchers accepted or have they been rejected just like Farmfoods?

How’s about you put information instore to let the paying customers know when you change this policy, we can’t keep up.

Thanks once again,

Walter Smith

Mr T droid:

Dear Mr Smith

Thank you for your email to Sir Terry Leahy, our Chief Executive, to which I have been asked to reply. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

I was sorry to learn of your confusion regarding our coupon acceptance policy but I appreciate you allowing me the chance to explain this matter.

Providing you have bought the product stated on the coupon, we're happy to accept it and this includes Tesco and branded coupons. Unfortunately, if you don't buy the product, we can't accept the coupon.

In addition, we will continue to accept competitor conditional spend coupons, as long as the minimum spend has been met, as well as Healthy Start and Luncheon Vouchers.

For your information, we now currently accept conditional spend coupons from the following competitors:

Asda
Morrisons
Sainsburys
Co-op
Marks & Spencer
Waitrose
Boots
Aldi

Although this information is not shown in our stores, our staff have been made aware of this change, and so they would be more than happy to inform our customers, should they ask.

I trust that this will explain our position with regards to this matter and I hope you can continue to enjoy shopping with us in the future.

Kind Regards
