Can't seem to find it on the online leaflet.

My mum in law had been this morning and didn't see any mention in the paper version. Was this a loose flyer in the leaflet or could it be store or region specific?

I'd struggle to spend £30 in that dump, horrible food and they have the cheek to make you buy bags too!! WTF is that all about? No thanks, I'd rather spend my £30 elsewhere and buy quality items!

Sorry. it's cold from me as it seems to be store specific and not a UK Deal
#14
Nothing in my local that I could see earlier
#15

#16
the poster on MSE just say's it was in the food leaflet at the till. the guy serving was telling the customers about it. not sure when it expires as she just handed it over to the guy serving

You do seem remarkably ill informed...

Why hot if no one has got a voucher?

just been to lidl. and there were no vouchers, must be regional. hence tesco DO NOT take lidl vouchers as the store is not on their list of competitors.

NONSENSE The food in Lidl is very good. Sometimes I struggle to find items with similar quality without paying a premium for it.

The only people who refuse to be seen shopping in places like Lidl, Aldi etc are those who are on modest salaries, trying their ill best to fit in the crowd by paying for items at a higher price simply for the label of the shopping bag. Even though there are stores like Lidl, Netto etc who sell similar goods of same name or similar quality, people like these just refuse to walk into these stores.

I call it the Starbucks Phenomena. :) (where people are happy to pay £2-£4 for a coffee which has got invented names for various different types and be seen in them)

Just to give you an idea of the madness that people pay for

My mate recently bought a powerful lawn mower from lLdl (1800w power rating). It has a 3 year guarantee. it cost £90. In B&Q, the equivalent one is £230!

Germany and Scandinavia generally have better quality products than the UK. this is one of the many reasons why they enjoy a better quality of living than us and there are people here who refuse to shop in these supermarkets!

FYI - I shop wherever I can as long as the deal is good and the quality matches my expectations. Hence the reason why I am on here :)

why not just tell us, since you worded, sorry worked there. :)

There are always going to be positives and negatives for working for any company. All of the supermarkets, have their good and bad days. For e.g. Tesco's are known for bullying the local competition out. I don't think t(my opinion) here is any company out there who have got an immaculate record for treating staff (I am talking of service orientated companies where the hours are long, and pay is low).

Too true. The people who knock Lidl usually haven't been there, so don't appreciate the quality of what they sell.

People who don't have a lot shop there because it makes economic sense to. People with plenty of money also shop there for the same reason. It seems to be the ones at the bottom end of the middle who get snobby about it, because they think it somehow affects their perceived 'status'.

Not sure if this is regional or not, but last week in Milton Keynes (yes we shop at lidl's weekly) we picked up the instore "flyer", that did indeed have a £5.00 off voucher for use from today (16th)..

And we did actually use it today, whilst picking up next weeks "flyer" that also includes £5.00 off from NEXT week...

I can't see what problem is with shopping at lidl, aldi, netto etc.... they ALL offer great savings on some of their items which makes shopping at the big 4 a questionable experience.

Sure it's a different voucher but St Neots (where I work) and Kingston stores have been accepting £5 off £30 spend vouchers for weeks. I've been taking in dozens of them everyday.

And the amount of customers I serve that hate on Tesco after they've finished shopping with us, makes me laugh that a few odd HUKDers complain as we are so much more cheaper.

you're cheaper because you have so few staff (very often just TWO PERSONS on the whole store on one shift) and that is equal to low customer service level + exhausted staff...

Maybe Worth a try , Thanks

Just popped in to Lidl and they had a the Cadbury caramel bars (4 pack) reduced to around £1.25.

A few isles down I noticed that they had the 6 pack, which clearly stated 50% extra free. I took this to the till expecting to pay £1.25 each, but I was told £1.70. They wouldn't budge on the price and even after showing it states '2 are free' they still wanted to change me a higher price then the standard 4 pack

How ridiculous is that!
