    The savings are various.

    1. The stuff is comparable to brand names, it really is. So although you can get a tin of value beans in Morrisons for the same or cheaper, they won't be very nice. ALDI stuff is all high quality, otherwise I would not shop there.
    2. I like to go into a supermarket and pay the same each week, ALDI doesn't do stupid offers where you need to buy multiples to get them down to the correct price. I like that when I buy their lemonade, its 39p. I don't want 3 bottles for £1.20 nor do I want to pay 79p because its not half price, I don't want to pay 80p BOGOF
    3. Plenty of their stuff is simply better. The nappies are the best on the market, better than Pampers, a million times better than Morrisons.
    4. The prices don't fluctuate.

Put simply, its a shop where quality stuff is less expensive. In Morrisons, quality stuff is expensive and cheap stuff is cheap and you want to get 2 free cans of Pringles when you buy one, and aren't savvy enough to realise that last week they were 89p each and now you're paying £3 for the one.

Or you could buy all low quality stuff in Morrisons, the V saver range. I imagine it'd work out slightly cheaper

Cheers OP, did the Mail one last week, but missed the other vouchers!

Good news. Still got one from last week to use on Friday. So this will cover next Friday's shop probably.

You will have to do next weeks shop on Thursday instead, as that's when it expires.

I went into Aldi to see what all the fuss is about. Other than some pretty standard cheap fruit and veg I did not see where the savings were if you are a savvy shopper at Morrisons. It also looks like a food jumble sale.

I like Aldi, because their fruit and veg is so cheap, booze is cheap, and it takes me about 20mins to get around the whole store and out. I can never do a full shop in Tesco in anywhere near that time.

I used to think the same as Ihavealightsaber until I did a few full shops. Then all the other supermarkets seem to annoy me (admittedly, there isn't a morrisons near by)

Some products are good but a lot are Dior. The wines and spirits are quite comparable to other supermarkets. How anybody can drink their instant coffee range i don't know. The dry goods are overpriced and of poor quality in my experience.Look warm.

Spot on and don't forget the twice weekly Special Buys either. I used to be a brand snow until I finally tried Aldi, now some of their products are our favourites. I'd point people towards the cold meats which are so much better than even 'Finest' and equivalents.

I thought I had an email notification setup for deals like this. Since these deals expire within the day, I need to figure out how to get the email notification working!

Can't step away from the office at the moment, so hope there's some newspapers left at the end of the day. What are the coupons this time around?

Have to agree with the above positive comments. I do my "weekly shop" there and have done for years now. OK, I can't get everything I need but I spend ~£70, so these vouchers appearing every few weeks are so are a bonus £5 off my weekly shop.

Oh and I bought a punnet of the Scottish strawberries they are selling at the moment yesterday...went back to buy more today, they are delicious!
