Are these accepted in Tesco like Asda ones?

After having mine refused this week, I clarified this with Tesco's head office.

It should have been accepted by them. They're going to speak to the store I shopped in. No suggestion of any recompense though.

Most people have seemed to have thad theirs accepted though. A few others, like myself, haven't. Probably best to ask at CS desk before you shop.

Can this be printed our (for free) like last time?

Could somebody possibly host this somewhere?

I had problems with Tesco calling me a liar about a voucher, they said it was a photocopy, I told them I had printed it out, They apologised and gave me £20 but I still don't like shopping in there any more. They have very poor communications with head office, and even between the management and the staff, so I never even try to use vouchers in there any more.

I emailed Tesco customer service regarding using the Morrisons voucher (as well as using a £7 Tesco till voucher). Here's what they said..

Sounds like it's store spacific!!

Dear Dorian

Thank you for your email.

Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the delay in getting back to you. Please let me assure you that we always try to respond to our customers' queries in a timely manner and I’m sorry that due to high volumes of contact, this has not happened on this occasion.

Please let me explain our policy regarding conditional spend coupons being accepted in our stores.

We have recently conducted a review of our coupon acceptance policy and I would like to take this opportunity to share some details with you.

I can confirm that we will respond to specific marketing activity which is carried out by other retailers, by only accepting selected conditional spend coupons and for a limited period of time. Please be assured that this will be clearly communicated on an individual promotional basis to our participating stores.

I'm afraid you will need to speak to the store whether or not you will be able to use both of your vouchers. Please let me advise I cannot promise they will.

Despite our change in this policy, I hope you will agree that Tesco still offers great value for money.

Thank you for your time.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] quoting TES9710587X.

Kind Regards

I guess it depends if your Tesco has a Morrisons nearby.

anyone know if you can use this at tesco with staff discount as well?

there are hardly any perks for working with M & with this you arent allowed to use staff discount as well as the voucher :(
but my brother works for tesco so could use his :)

I used ours last week and we dont have a morrisons anywhere nearby, I think it is store specific, these things usually are with Tesco's.

Can this be exchanged for Video games? With LA Noire being released today was wondering if this would knock a fiver off it

I believe you can register here for a free 4 week trial of the online version of the paper, which should let you download vouchers from there:

Yip you can, I used it with mine a couple of nights ago and it doesn't have to be over £40 after discount, your discount can take u under £40 and u can still use it.

In my shopping experience £40 in Morrisons is better spent than in any other of the big supermarkets. My money goes further there than in Tesco. Also, the quality of fruit and veg is definitely better in Morrisons.

Will asda also take it?
#17
can some one upload the voucher after they received it?thx~

I'm not really sure what your point is... a 12.5% saving not good enough?? If I'm spending £40 then I'd rather pay £35!

We have a Morrisons near to Tesco but they refused to take the voucher from last weeks NOTW.
#20
I don't have a Morrisons nearby, but asked Tesco & they said they will accept it.

Are Morrisons still doing Lego Pirates for £29.99?? You could buy it and top up with some shopping to £40, use the voucher to bring the game down to £25.

Then take it along to GAME as its their trade in of the week to get £35 of credit and £5 worth of reward card points!

This happened to me. I went to a till and had the voucher rejected. Then I went to a store which has a scanning hand held gadget and I scan the £2 off voucher from another store. So far so good. Try that. Use a handheld scanner and the machine usually just accepts the voucher. Occasionally, it might ask for help. Once out of four times.

Thanks - Though I just use non store specific vouchers at Sainsbury and now do my main shop at Morrison's as someone said already I seem to get much more for my money and it tastes better.

Worked fine for me in Rawtenstall..... Lad on counter said to supervisior, what do I do with this... She said "just scan it."
No worries

Just to update, MK Kingston Tesco will accept Morrisons voucher and any Tesco money off voucher in the same transaction as long as it meets minimum spend requirement. Saved £12 today, not bad...
