So clearly noone will buy the £25 cards. £20 for £25 credit, or two £15 cards for £20 giving £30 credit.

Awesome deal
#7
Great deal if you haven't got any clubcard points or need them for another deal.

Why would anyone buy a £25 card for £20 when you can buy two £15 cards for £20?

I was going to point this out. better to buy two £15 cards than 1 £25.

#20

#21
Hi OP

Where did you see this offer advertised?

Hot if it's true
Thanks
#22
Yeah, no offence to the OP but I think I'm going to need to see some proof on this before braving a card shop one week before Christmas.

On your logic surely you might as well just buy 2 x £25 card and get £50 credit for £40.

It doesn't matter how you buy them its £5 off all vouchers.

Oh dear. Or you could spend the £ 40 on getting 4 times £ 15 cards and get £ 60 credit for the same money. At least you can buy the £ 25 cards and leave us the £ 15 cards.
#25
getting a couple of these, thanks!

migisieagle, can you use the report link to the right of this post to let us know where you heard of this offer and provide proof if possible eg a copy of the advert etc. I'm expiring this thread until another member can confirm that Clinton's are actually running this offer on Saturday.

markwigg,

You need to examine your maths skills to realise that £5 off £15 is a better deal than £5 off £25. I will try to help thus:

As an example, to buy £75 of itunes credit in £25 vouchers would cost £60 (3 x £25 vouchers at £20 each);
to buy £75 of itunes credit in £15 vouchers would cost £50 (5 x £15 vouchers at £10 each).

I hope you understand my intial post now.

was in clinton cards this lunchtime-staff have no knowledge of this offer,no promotional material at all. doesnt absolutely prove anything as on previous deals at clintons staff have been known to be in the dark but what makes me question this is that surely even clintons realise nobody would buy the £25 cards so what would be the point? why not just advertise that they are doing £15 cards for a tenner?

Yes, it's confirmed for tomorrow. I was in the Runcorn store today and popped into Clintons and the lady said the offer is valid for Saturday and Sunday.
Managed to get my iTunes (2x £15 for £20) at WH Smith today via the Daily Express voucher.
Deal should be un-expired now!! :)
