Was looking to put this in the tips section but its disappeared???

My Mum just called up to tell me about this,so posted it on here, more details on main Oxfam site.Shame it wasn't on food you could get £5 off as there isn't really much else I buy in there.

How it works :-

When you bring a bag of donated clothes containing at least one item of M&S clothing to any of Oxfams 750 high street shops, youll get a voucher for £5 off your next purchase of £35 or more of clothing, homeware or beauty products in M&S. Offer starts on 28 January 2008 and vouchers are valid during the calendar month in which they are received.

Not really a giveaway is it? More like 15%off in a store that charges 15% more than anywhere else anyway. More like a promotion than a giveaway IMO.
#8
give the voucher to anyone you see instore they will be happy

I thought this had been hanging round for a while. Seeing as this was found over a month, do we have confirmation this is still running?

Yes, I tend to agree - and my nearest Oxfam store is 10 miles away, so not really worth the effort. All my old clothes go to my local Cancer Research Shop, and I don't mind not getting a £5 voucher!

what a geat idea as an incentive to donate clothes to charity

its still on their site,I think it be running for some time actually.

Well £5 off is better than nothing if you want something from there anyway!

You don't have to give Oxfam anything. Give stuff to a charity shop closer to you, you won't get the voucher, but that's not supposed to be the reason you give them things anyway.
