Unfortunatly, for some reason rechargeables don't work well in a lot of my kids toys. Dunno why, may be to do with the fact they are all 1.2v and not 1.5v. Wish they did, I bought loads of rechargeables when they have been on offer!

I have found the Aldi or Lidl rechargable batteries very very unreliable.
