Just called t-mobile to leave, was going to o2 payg. They offered me this deal initialy on a 24 month contract which i declined. After a bit of discussion ive ended up with 100 mins, 100 texts + bolt on (internet for me) for £5 per month on a 30 day rolling contract.

They said i was a valued customer, but i dont spend alot and last time i went for an upgrade they said they wouldnt give me any deal as i dont spend enough!

As usual with these "deals" it depends on who you get to talk to at retentions and how good you are at negotiating, plus a bit of luck too.

I remember when my girlfriend and I were both with Vodafone and at the end of our contracts (same tariff , same model of phone) and I called up to cancel and was offered nothing at all but she got the offered the same tariff she was on (previously £35 a month) for £10 a month as a SIM only deal.

Can't find any mention of this deal on the site. Cheapest seems to be £10 per month

could you add to title this is a retention offer

Availability dependent on how much incoming call revenue they've made from you in the past, and... how well you can haggle ;-)

think the norm is £10 off your contract if you arent upgrading

Think its pretty obvious if you bother to read 'description'

If it is not obvious, they would not know what a 'retention deal' is either.
