I called T-Mobile yesterday and they offered me the above deal.

I had a choice of a LG Pop, Nokia N79 and Samsung Tocco Lite or if I wanted to pay £10 I could have had a Pulse Android phone with free internet!

I don't think its on the internet but call them - I called 0800 956 2208 and spoke to Joanne or Joanna.

This is a 24 month contract.

£5 per month for 12months then £10 per month for next 12months

I assume this is for existing customers, and offered by retentions for people nearing the end of their contract?
#2
No its for new customers also - After I got it my mate called (who's on O2) and he got the same deal.

So new and existing customers.

Hell of a deal :-)
#3
How long was the contract?
#4
No luck, got told there is no such deal. They said cheapest tariff was 10 quid a month for 100mins/texts + booster

Sometimes a different operative can give the deal.

its 24mth - call them again I got it and my mate did yesterday - he spoke to a lady called Gemma.]

Ask for Jo or Gemma :-)

this must have been a 12 or 24 month contract.

I got a new t-mobile sim yesterday, £10 a month, 100 mins, 100 texts.. unlimited t-mobile booster (boosters can be changed once a month).

Guy at shop gave me a fiver cash back there and then lol.

Five a month is cheap... T-mobile charge for voice messages..

I'm assuming that the deal I got is only available on the phone.

If you call your own number from your phone that will take you to your Voicemail - and then it comes outta your mintues :-)

has anyone but the OP managed to get this deal? If so, is hot (TechRadar says the N79 is a superb phone, and the Pulse Android is fairly good too - my choice would (will if this deal works) be the N79

Call them - if you get it give us a post

just spoke to a Welsh lady called Jo-

deal is £5 for first 12 months, then £10 for remaining 12 months.

Nokia N79 not in stock, but they will do this with the Samsung Tocco Lite, Samsung S3100, and LG Pop. Didn't mention the Pulse Android, though I didn't ask. She said "100 minutes 100 texts" as in both, though not confirmed. She also mentioned the Amazon voucher

Shame the N79 is not in stock, but this is still a reasonably hot deal. Those phones aren't exactly top-end, though if you can get the Pulse Android, that's a good deal.

Done deal.
Spoke to Tmobile. They new all about this deal.
The only difference was that on three separate times I called they said the only phone you can have is the LG POP.
Still that will do me.
PS. The deal is £5 per month for 12 months then £10 per month.
Still a good deal to me.http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/620075/5-per-month-contract-with-100mins-p/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you take any of them?

Just order LG POP - £5 per month for 12months then £10 per month for next 12months.
100mins + booster making it unlimited texts.
Cracking deal - cheaper than PAYG. If phone goes done in contract time soon pick up another cheap handset.
#16
So, 12 months x £5 and 12 x £10 = £180, plus any cancellation notice time/charge, if appropriate.

for this you get a free phone and some minutes - probably not enough for most people, but 100 minutes regardless, and texts etc. And you get an amazon voucher, if you can get the same as the poster

Unlike the poster, I recommend never entering into any contract, unless you know the full commitment, in terms of length etc, and totalling the full cost.

Better still is to get an offer in writing, as some mobile outlets are notorious for charging something different once the bills arrive, and many phone network's customer service isn't too hot.

Yeah plus a free booster so you can have unlimited txt or landlines or T-Mobile calls

All my mates are on T-Mob apart from 1 or 2 - so I had Unlimited T-Mobile calls - basically I got 2000mins (which I use per mth call them) + 100 sms for £5 a mth!

Hot Hot Hot!!!!!!!

Who did you speak to?

If your phone does go then its a 24mth warrenty with most phones so T-Mob would repair/replace it anyways.

Thats ok Tia - glad your happy with the deal. I only needed one so don't know?

No - I don't really need this at the moment but would definitely have ordered the N79 if they had had it in stock.

The other phones are a good deal, but are very low-end phones. Which are fine if that's what you want etc., but I'm a bit of a tech-geek so I'll wait until a good deal comes around for a better phone.

On this deal I'd have prob gone for the unlimited internet booster, so would have been paying for texts, so would have been more expensive than it sounds anyway (for me - possibly not for others).

Still hot if this meets your needs. Remembers, it's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway. ;-)
#22
Should say £7.50 a month in title - good deal if good phone
#23
Just got this offer twice, i chose unlimited landline minutes as my extra, but you can have unlimited call to all tmobile users, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and others.. you can also change your bonus offer every 30 days. Was also told about something you stick on back of phone so will never run out of charge, its solar powered.. you can buy this from amazon with voucher. Good deal.. thanx!!!!
#24
Spoke to T Mobile - got LG POP at £5 month for 12 months then £10 month for next 12. Will do Pulse Android but would be £10 month for the 24months.
#25
I spoke to Rachel - very friendly and helpful
#26
Price in OP should be £180 - that's £5/month for 12 months (£60) and £10/month for 12 months (£120).
#27
im tempted to try for this just for the phone alone...woudl like the N79 admittedly if i could get it but the LG pop looks fun but then paying 180 for an 80 quid fone while i may not use the allowances defeats the purpose i guess. great for lite users though !
#28
Excellent deal, might call them tomorrow.
#29
I will just stick to me no phone, 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500 pic messages for £8 quid a month.
#30
So annoying when a title and price both show £5, when it's actually a lot more than that.

#32

#33

Lets be a little less criptic and share the love, which network and how did you get it?
#35
Not criptic at all, Ive been with t-mobile for a couple of years and always do the "whats your best offer"....then "no im going to cancel".........and that was the offer they came up with, should say mid-day phone calls seem to come up with the best offer from their lovely Scottish domain. Sorry folks but loyalty does now seem to be paying off.

why bother even posting?????????????

If you not going to share the joy then its pointless
#37
errrrmmmmmmmmm "usetheforceluke"..........did you miss my post or are you just one of these people who sit onwebsites who insist on being firstly over critical and also expect everyone have nothing better to do but to respond to your demands!!!!!!!!!
As I did not post this as a deal and only a comment of my own personal deal I did not realise that I had to sit here 24/7 waiting on your every word.
#38
My head hurts, so many different phones and price plans. I am beginning to lose track of who is offering what.

Seems like a good deal, so fair play to OP. Just wish I could decide which deal to go for.
#39
Thanks just got the lg pop for my daughter they knew of offer and said it finished tonight!
#40
Same here guys, its only some agents that know of this deal, and yes it is £5 per month for 12months and then a further £10 for 12months totalling £180

Like the post above deal finished 8pm, those who missed out, try your luck tommorow

I didn't get it, just thought i'd enquire for others, but reason i didn't get it, NEVER take a contract which you haven't read, especially small print.
