Same price in Poundland as well (10 for £1 or buy a pack of 5 for 50p)

I saw an article in the Telegraph recently which said that most 11w bulbs are actually equivalent to being about 45w rather than 60w. Having used the horrible things I would have to concur.

Cold for being rubbish technology and environmentally unfriendly things full of mercury which will find it's way to landfill and pollute our water supplies. Bad idea. Bring back the incandescent bulb.

soz for the misdescription fixed it now hope this one is ok for you

no thanks! I think you'll get a brighter light from a couple of candles!

shame morrissons isnt doing 8 for 48p as they did some while ago.

but good price for Phillips bulbs. Worth adding if they're screw thread and standard fittings, as people invariably want both

Same price in Savers

I have about 50 of these when the offer was first on... went overboard.

In my experience, the phillips ones are better brightness than the rest of the manufacturers and they are as bright as a 60W one.

The Range had these at 5 for 30p when I was in their store last weekend. There must be some kind of national glut!

The Phllips ones are pretty good - they light up very quickly and are pretty bright, whole house is full of them!
