im seriously looking into buying some drills and tools etc
i suspect this may not be a good deal as they may not cut the mustard

At that price I cant imagine they'll be any good and anything apart from the most basic things. I certainly wouldn’t take on any real drilling or hanging curtains up etc.

These are not in the same class as say DeWalt tools, saying that I have bought Aldi tools before and they are OK.

They also give a 3 year guarantee on their power tools

photocopy it before keeping it safe though! Till receipts fade with time.

Guys,
I boufgt one of these around the same time last year. The drill was pants, the nut that hold in the blade on the saw broke the first time I used it and the screw driver had no power at all. I was on hold for over an hour to the customer service number (in Ireland) so I just took it back to the store, told them the customer service number said to return it and they refunded my money. I would avoid if you can.
