Bought one of those eBuyer ones a while back. It works fine but is decidedly cheap/flimsy in construction (the top had popped off the one I received and needed popping back on) and had no ventilation.

So for the sake of a few pence I think this Play.com which appears better built and ventilated should be preferred - and play.com usually despatch next day whereas eBuyer SuperSaver deliveries do get delayed to justify the lower fee.

only problem with ebuyer is that they use couriers and if there is no one at home when they deliver you have to pick it up and there depot is miles away.at least with the postman he just puts it round the back or through the letterbox.and the one at play looks better and has a 2 year guarantee.

Just to add these can also be stacked if you ever need more ports. I've got 2 from about 4 years ago (now packed away) and never had any problems with them. Only stopped using them as I needed the leccy socket back so went for an 8 port.

Nice to see people still using old tech pmsl.

If your after a cheap ADSL router (or wireless) take a look at

http://www.dsldepot.co.uk/

Think prices start around 8 quid delivered, ususally next day too. They lost one of my routers in the post, but sent an even better one without fuss, and I have bought 5-6 routers now for various friends and family.

BTW these are refurbs with 30 day warranty, not that I've had any problems with thier stuff, usually looks new or else brown boxed.
