alternatively go to your local chinese supermarket and pick up some proper noodles there. the decent ramen (soup) noodles by nissin go for about 35-40p a time (ok, not instant but 3 mins on the hob). chuck in some chopped spring onion and chilli oil for a start, and anything else you got hanging around. yummy. cheap. quick. authentic.

if you're also looking for a bargain asian meal, get a tub of the red or green thai paste at the asian supermarket, bout £1-2 depending on where you are. also nam pla (fish sauce) and some palm sugar. maybe £3-4 tops. then its half a tin of coconut milk (they about 80p a can) per portion, 2 tsps of paste, 1 of palm sugar, splash of nam pla... maybe 50p in total for the sauce. chuck in chicken or veg or whatever, bit of rice, bang easy quick meal around a quid a head.

The donner kebab Pot Noodles (with the extra hot chilli sauce) are yummy (though nothing like a kebab, obviously!). Gonna stock up on these for quick lunches at work...

My fave used to be the Beef and Tomato but once they removed half the salt, the taste went to ****.
For me it did anyway, and not just for that flavour either. Still, voting hot as it's a good deal.

Sounds disgusting I much prefer a wholesome Pot Noodle than all that foreign muck .

Yeah I thought the same a while back. But when I bought some last week I thought they tasted better again (at least by Pot Noodle standards). Perhaps worth trying them again at this price?

yeh they seem to taste better now, maybe they reverted back after feedback
