Edit - Yes you can get tape dispensers from poundland but for £1.46 more you get one with 5 star reviews that's actually well made, cuts tape properly and has some weight to it

Yes but are the ones from poundland anywhere near the same quality? From my experience the £1 ones usually have very little weight to them which can make them flimsy and more cumbersome to use.

I completely agree with you - Poundland tapes like some of their products are very very poor quality.
