I recently bought tickets for this for over £20 and was a bit gutted when I heard these £5 tickets advertised. There are plenty of decent seats available - you can see original prices when booking - some of the top priced areas are not reduced but all other areas are.
Please use the 3639 promotional code when booking.

Classic FM welcomes the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and their sensational conductor Vasily Petrenko, back for another star-studded Classic FM Live.

We are very excited to have Emma Johnson joining us to perform Mozarts stunning Clarinet Concerto. Her recording of the concerto is number 6 in the Classic FM Hall of Fame 2008.

There will be performances from Alison Balsom, Alfie Boe and Kate Royal. The concert will be hosted by Classic FMs Breakfast Show presenter, Simon Bates, who will lead you through an evening of classical greats.

We hope you can make it for what proves to be a very exciting concert

Additional production tickets now available from £5.00. Please use the 3639 promotional code when booking.

Brilliant find and kind of you to take trouble to post, even though you could not benefit

Too short notice for me though but (I do get to see Liverpool Philharmonic a few times each year) but would love to see a concert in the Albert Hall one day.

Thanks - I'm really looking forward to going to the Royal Albert Hall, despite living in greater London I've never been!

If anyone wants to know which seats are best you can look here http://www.theatremonkey.com/ROYALALBERTHALLbooking.htm but at the price they are all good value. I forgot to mention a booking fee - I guess there is one, it seems the done thing these days.

Shame I can't make that date, but very good priced tickets for those that can.

Cold. The BBC Proms had much better performers than this - Emma Johnson is second-rate - and we had 70 concerts to choose from, at the same price.

So why didn't you come on and tell us that at the time?

"second rate", suits me fine. How do people ever become any better without encouragement. What a sad attitude.

I did.

Emma Johnson has been around a long time. Won BBC Young Musician of the Year in 1984 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/youngmusician/history/winners.shtml#ejohnson - but she never lived up to her potential. (IMHO, I'm a classical-music journalist.)

OK, you did publicise it. I apologise.

I still think it's unfair to describe someone as "second rate". For £5 per ticket I know most people would be more than happy. Not everyone got chance to go to the proms. I have paid a lot more to see soloists who were pretty bad.

Thankfully now hot anyway

Martin Frost first-rate. Emma Johnson second-rate. Plenty more third-rate. But that's only my opinion. Go to the concert if you can and judge for yourself. If Classic FM were broadcasting this concert, you could make up your own mind. But they're not. True, for a fiver she's very good value. And there are a lot worse. I'm more impressed by the likes of Alison Balsom and Kate Royal in the same concert.

Voted cold - we don't have a Royal Albert Hall in the next village so not a national deal :whistling:

Only kiddin' and envious, but at least Morph was invented in our street, and Wallace was a good friend of ours.

Beat that for real culture !!!

There is no doubt that Morph is cool!

I've never been to the Royal Albert Hall and am excited to be going even though I paid £25 each for my two tickets. £5 for a trip to the Royal Albert Hall can't be bad. The cast may not be for the top connoisseurs but for the likes of me it's great. For me this is an easy listening concert, I love music but I get bored listening for hours to one composer overture or concerto. This is a bill of favourites which should be great fun!

good price hot

I hope they don't amplify it like the concert I went to see there last night - ugh. Still, the tickets were free so I can't complain.
