Got this email last week, took up the offer. Checked today, no points 'automatically' awarded. Still awaiting response from Morrisons.

We got sent a booklet of coupons to get points every week til Christmas but it only alternates between 500 and 1000 points. No email received about this offer.
#6
What was the start date? We were there yesterday!
#7
Does this stack with the Xmas promotion? I'm struggling to find £70 worth of stuff every week :(
#8
i can`t see it advertised?
#9
exclusive to you

Is the word that makes this not a deal
#10
I've got the exact same email but it's not £5 off £40.

It's spend £40 get £5 vouchers so at best it's £5 off £45
#11
Make the most of these offers...apparently profits down and these are going to decrease ;)

Had the same email about 2 weeks ago. Seems they are going through their database.
And yes it is individually targeted.

alternatively shop at Aldi/Lidl and save a lot more than £5 off a £40 shop
#14
Yeah self specific this deal.

Apparently (told by a member of staff) that the amount of points you get depends on how much your shopping has been worth in he past.

These vouchers have gottten worse and worse each year, MUCh, MUCH worse this year in particular though

i got the booklet spend £90 5 out of 6 weeks and get 25000 point plus 1000-3000 per week with voucher. Is this replacing the xmas bonus they usually do when you collect receipts and this works out at about £30 in vouchers but spend is more than double to get. Anyone that work in Morrisons know if it will be running? x
#17
£90???? Blimey ours is £50 a week for 5 out of 6 weeks. Not had any recentemails tho
#18
This is the Christmas bonus scheme this year btw

Ours is £70 for 5 out of 6 weeks and get extra 20,000 points. Each weekly voucher is worth 1000 or 2000 points. I guess the required spend might be done on supposed affluence of surrounding area? Or maybe it's based on average spend of each customer in the store. Either way, I'm a family of 5 (3 small kids) and I'm struggling to spend the £70 each week without bulk buying loo paper and tinned stuff!

I haven't shopped at Morrisons for about a year (since we moved) and I still got this offer - maybe they just want me back!

To all - sorry if you haven't received this offer, there's a chance it's not user specific though so you may still get the 5000 points (maybe from today until the 15th) so don't vote cold or complain unless you've tried it and confirmed it doesn't work.

(ps, points can take 24 hours to be added to your account.)

We got the booklet with £90 spend too! On average we spend between £70-80 per week. I have emailed them as I think it is appalling they are not rewarding customers loyalty and expecting we will increase our weekly shop for points!!
#22
So its not actually £5 off £40 spend, its get 5000 points which makes a £5 voucher to use next time after a £40 spend

Like all other super markets don't do the same. It's managers ignoring the rule book

The deal doesn't need to available to people for them to decide if it's hot/cold.

I got the same email as you but I've voted cold.

Exactly. You can't even use the £5 voucher straight away so you have to make 2 visits

Yeah £90 I thought it was high too, we do spend on average £100 a week so it might be based on that. x

Have you had a response from them? Usually its over £40 for the xmas bonus for the £25 voucher so doubling it seems a bit unfair x

I received vouchers in the post for £8. Off when you spend £80.00 for 4 weeks haven't been able to use them yet as it is far more than I spend shame because i shop at morrisons every week.
