Are there any good deals on 20W+ bulbs? 11W are a bit dim IMO.
#5
Are these bayonet or screw?

Morrisons do a 2 pack of 20w (100w equivalent) for 49p
They're actually pretty bright, I bought 2 packs to replace 4 bulbs but found 1 pack was enough.

99p store doing the same, 2 packs of 5 for 99p so thats 1p cheaper, I got 2 packs yesterday and fitted 5 last night and they all work fine.

I need some small screw type energy saving bulbs. Anyone know where I can get some cheap ones?

It seems these energy saving lightbulbs are getting cheaper and cheaper
Perhaps next month they will become FREE?

There is a reason these are so cheap, companies buy the bulbs then give them away to the likes of Sainsburys and the pound shop to sell at a nominal price. Its for caarbon offsetting so the businesses concerned meet their renewables targets.

Pound shop have had this on for ages the boxes are stamped British Gas - so its british gas doing the offsetting in that case. My local pound shop has screw and bayonet fittings and the 20w equivalents. I have a good stock of them now they last for years anyway.

Think they were 5 for £1 in Robert Dyas.

My shed is still full to bursting with dozens of bulbs from the Tesco 1p deal last year!

These are 39p in B&Q at the moment.

This is in the store in Newbury as well. I had someone ask me when i was serving them earlier if they were 5 for 50p because it's so cheap. Full price for 5 would normally be £2.45.

Still got loads of these bulbs in the shed from when the sun were giving them away months ago when you brought the paper. Also kept getting them from British gas, southern electric & the housing association.
