Good deal if you want a Dyson I guess. I just threw my Dyson out as it was falling to bits after 4 years.

Bought a Henry Xtra - Soooo much better than the Dyson and much cheaper. Thought I'd miss an upright but actually its quite the opposite. i love the fact that you can just clean under tables and chairs without moving them. And the bags are cheap and take forever to fill.

I think most Dyson comes with a five year manufacturer's warranty. I am a Henry user myself so am not 100% sure on that!

You are right in saying Henry is reliable. But I guess some people may prefer the sophistication of a Dyson.

Already posted i think???

I hate my henry it never picked my hair up of the carpet, fine if all wood floors. Love my animal dyson picks it all up still going strong 5 years on and henry is only used on diy jobs!

Ours is still going strong after 7 years, would be lost without it. This seems like a scorching deal - is it £50 off the dyson, or £50 to be used on another visit?

You can use it on any item I think. Personally, I think this is a great deal, but I may be a bit biased...

I think I presented the deal in a different way but my apologies if this was a re-post. Still new to this website. :whistling:

That is a great deal. We had a dyson for 9 years until it finally died and even then it was because I vacuumed up a load of plaster dust and it fried something inside it. Replaced it with another dyson 3 months ago, could have done with this voucher as we got it from argos. I used to clean a school as a part time job and Henrys suck ( well actually they don't)

Darn! We bought one 2 weeks ago from Argos... Hot but not cool. He he he, well, c'est la vie!

not that good a deal when i looked into it last time, alot were available for £60-70 cheaper in other places, instead you get £50 to spend at the store i'd prefer the cash tbh. especially when you can now trade old one in for 25 per cent off... some better bargains about.

pitty the cheaper ones aren't in stock anywhere

wanted the animal baby as i just moved to a house with limited cupboards would have been perfect

but none so cold

Just out of curiosity, If I bought the hoover and got the voucher then returned the hoover the next day would there be a problem with that?

My thinking is, I could buy it, get the voucher, return it then buy it again with the voucher I previously got (In fact maybe I'd get another voucher since it's still a dyson over £160 I'm buying???)

hmm, clever. But Argos are cleverer, so they say in their "T&C's" that if you return the hoover, you need to return the voucher otherwise, they take that off your refund.

btw, My store didn't give me a voucher but took £50 of the dyson's price.

So buy another one, get the discount card and return the new one with the old receipt. You have 30 days from when you bought your old one so about 2 weeks left and you'd get the money back from the old one. End result is you are a £50 voucher ahead and I only charge £20 for the advice.

Good deal cheers. But I have found this one at Amazon which is £50 cheaper than Argos:

Dyson will also do repairs for an all inclusive price of £60 or something.

I threw out my old Dyson as it died and spent £250 on another.

My old Dyson was perfectly ok. Kicked myself that i could have had it repaired for £60
