for some reason it keeps saying error when trying to choose a store to collect from and will not allow me to select a store!!!

That ususally means they are now out of stock, I had the same when I tried to order something the other week so called them and was told the item was out of stock.

Dont waste your money if you expect to use them in winter. Theres not enough sunlight to charge them for more than a couple of hours at best. Summer might be fine but ours were rubbish over winter.
#14
You need to live in Spain for them to work in winter!
#15
Ordered -in stock-thanks O.P :)

I bought these when they was on offer about this time last year. They light up bright at dusk and are still alight at 4 am in the morning. The Solar bit is huge so thats why it last a long time.
Well worth the money.

In stock for me too, ordered! Thank you

Ebay have some fantastic solar lights too and at a decent buy.
These lights are also good because the bulbs are a decent size, however i brought some from ebay which are 18m in length these are under 5m, and they were about 12 quid on ebay.

Thanks. Ordered 2 sets - one for the tent when we go to Piratemania.
#24
Be careful where you put them, wind ripped mine to bits.

Ours are wound into climbing plants on the fence and have been there for two years now without a problem.

Just ordered two sets, heat added. :)

Do they contain easily-removable AA or AAA batteries? If so, you could stick them in a charger if you wanted to use them in winter.

I've had three sets of these in blue for 2 years now and they light up for at least 3 to 4 hours at night in the middle of winter on overcast, rainy, dark and dismal days. During summer they only seem to go off when it comes light again the next morning!! It all depends on where you place the solar panels. Paid the same as this then and still a great deal.

got it delivered but looks very cheap. better pay an additional £10 and buy something else
#31
Had mine delivered today ..they sent me 3 packs instead of 2 like i ordered ...they must be desperate to get shut of them :D
#32
Picked mine up today. They are not the same as the ones i got on offer from Tesco last year. The solar part of it is a quarter the size of last years one.
#33
Discovered why these are £7.50.

Out of 4 units, only one was sealed watertight. The other 3 filled up with water after a night of rain, shorting the battery. I now have them disassembled, drying in the sun.

Oh the bright side (no pun intended), the battery is decent - FiLepo4 / LiFepo4, as used in electric vehicles.

Did anyone get the white berry ones and found that the solar panel provided is nothing like the one pictured? My set has just a small round solar panel! Not impressed!!
#35
wazza123 Yep i got the white ones and such a small solar panel. The same ones i got last year on offer has a huge solar panel.
Not really had any sun her so cant see how long they stay alight for yet.
