This has been posted before - but a better deal seems to be using the P258BTCC467 code

This gives the F200 and F70 for £155 delivered and S200 for £255.

I think you can use that code on any items on the site except warranties.

You can try claiming the cashback also but the concensus opinion seemed to be that it wouldn't get paid ;-)

Better off getting the 200exr from Ebuyer for 275 which with Cashback takes it down to 225. Honestly though, then your in DSLR (low end) territory - shop about for cashback deals or refurbished. I got a Canon rebel xs for an extra £50.

I think you're right on the S200 - I'd come to the conclusion that it is just too expensive and too bulky not to be in DSLR territory.

The F200 and F70 are very good pocket cameras and well worth considering

I'm looking to replace my Fuji S8000 (I dropped it) and am sorely tempted by the F70 but just can't bear to be parted from my 18x zoom. The obvious choice is the Panasonic FZ38 but £250+ is a big step up from my £107 S8000...

It's possible you can find a better deal at say Amazon using the cashback than at Fuji with 35% off as Fujis initial prices are very high...

To compare the S200EXR to the F200EXR or the F70EXR is a bit unfair. Of course the S200EXR would give better results because it has a bigger sensor.

A DSLR is in another category because it would be much more expensive to buy with the equivlent zoom range (30 to 400mm). DSLR would cost at least £200 more.

You do get better quality from a DSLR if you mainly enlarge your prints over 10x8. For 6x4 you would see no difference between the S200EXR and a DSLR.

If you think of buying from ebuyer, make sure to confirm that the camera is not a grey import. You won't get cashback for those.

States clearly in the condition that 2 promotions (codes) cannot be used in conjunction. If you use the code on the Fuji site, there will be no cashback.

Sorry - but your link isn't working - can you confirm that is a new s200EXR with full UK manufacturers warranty?

But I guess your point is you can get them at considerably less than an entry level DSLR?

I don't know that anyone was comparing them; but I don't think the sensor size is a factor at all - the F70 has 10mpixel on 1/1.8 and the S200 and F200 12mpixel on 1/1.6 - the effects of the extra mpixel will counter the increase in ccd size. I would have thought the S200s massive (and reportedly very good) lens would be the biggest difference.
These are all very good cameras and and intended for very different use but printed at 6x4 and probably up to A4 you won't see too many differences...

Yes here's my original post. It didn't get much heat then though but I can confirm that ebuyers are definately UK models as that's where I got mine from.

Looks like the original link I posted isn't working anymore so here's the direct link to the claim form

If the F200EXR was more your size then there is a £30 cashback voucher
