  The deal advertised in store is if you buy any greeting card you can get a £15 gift card for £10.
  Maybe this is what should've happened and the assistant got it wrong?

  Thanks for this. I bought some of these a couple of months ago on the same deal but the exp was 2014, bought another one a couple of weeks ago and didn't bother checking exp but this time it's August 2012.

  the offer is buy ANY greeting card and smiths will sell you a £15.00 whsmith gift card for £10.00 this is the correct offer it is on at all whsmiths at the moment hope this helps
