  Not sure why this was cold - If your trading in anyway £50 extra is a good deal and you can always buy 3 cheap games and trade them straight in (Like i did last time round and made profit)

  Any idea how much you would get trading in an Elite and three games?
  
  I'm presuming the £50 is for the slim, although there is no mention of that, only that it is on Xbox 360 consoles.

  I got telled at the minute £56 trade in for 120gb xbox 360 elite , £20 for my 20gb xbox 360 ,but these prices could go down...so if the price stays the same £106 store credit...Never thought of going out and buying some 99p xbox 360 games to trade in,thanks goonertillidie...

  -89.2 degrees. GAME's trade-in prices are highway robbery if you ask me. They give you pennies but sell on for Pounds. It's fine if you don't look after your stuff (and judging by the grimy, sticky, battered crud on GAME's shelves, no-one who trades in their stuff looks after it), but if you're clean you're better off selling it on yourself.
  
  I don't go into the local GAME store anymore as I always feel like I need to be decontaminated on egress.

  I checked the price on a orginal DS the other day. They are currently £18.80 with the additional 25% so £15 without. So an original ds with 3 games should get you £40 + the games trade in price. I managed to pick up 3 from a car boot this morning for £5 to trade in.

  Nope, just did this, traded in 1 3ds, 1 Xbox, 1 PS3 game and got the extra £25 for my 3DS (£105), not bad at all considering I only paid £100 for console anyway! Only thing to note is that the games do not benefit from the 25% offer so it's best taking in some real cheapies to take advantage of this deal.

  I went in and asked today what I would get fro my old white wii and my 360 elite and was told £55 for the wii and £106 for the 360. I think that those prices are pretty good. I was told that I would get the extra 25% for the games but this may not be true as suggested above.

  does any1 know if you have to take store credit for this deal or could you trade in and get cash(t&c mention gift cards but does not say you cantget cash). the extra £50 isnt bad but i wouldnt want to buy anything out of there coz so much cheaper elsewhere. thinking of getting rid of a xbox arcade plus a xbox game and 2 ps3 games (maybe a fifa in there) so could get £65+ which would be good for an old arcade. TIA

  Deal is Gift balanace only. Pricing is generally quite high in the store but there are some ok deals to be had, I picked up Lollipop Chainsaw (Before the price drop at Simply Games) 29.99 with the 3 dlc codes which was comparable to internet prices at the time. They're also running a 3 for 2 deal on most of their pre-owned stuff if you don't mind second hand goods. Most of this works out to be a decent price even for pre-owned.
