at least 4 or 5 of you have voted, have the decency to say why you think its cold, as voting cold and saying nothing, with nothing being obvious why its worth minus 33 is not helping the community is it?

I added heat - thought it looked a decent bargain

Have seen this before, looks good.
I wish they sold the hardware this side of the pond though...

Until they get some servers in the UK, you're looking at a noticeable lag between pressing a mouse button and seeing an action on screen.

You also have to factor in that everytime you play you'll be using bandwidth just to see the screen. The technology is very clever and has a future, but at the moment people could easily eat into their monthly GB allowance since a 5.6mb/s connection is needed for 720p video stream.

It's a really great idea, game is rendered at a data centre, and sent to you via high speed video streaming. As such there's no install times, and you can game on hardware that's a bit older, since all it has to do is effectively watch a video. But until the UK gets much cheaper bandwidth packages numbering in the hundreds of GB, and onlive comes to Europe, which I understand they did say there were doing ( http://blog.onlive.com/2010/05/13/onlive-coming-to-europe/ ) this just isn't a practical or good deal.

I didn't vote it cold, it's just not hot though.

I've used Onlive, I played Borderlands just to test the tech, I was mightily impressed, but it was laggy as hell, but its a step forwards

Voted Hot, £5.98 a month for the 50+ games is pretty good

Yep, just cos the tech isn't up to scratch yet doesn't mean this is a bad deal.

I tried to buy something, but you cant add a UK card as it requires a USA/Canada billing address, Works great for the trial though.

are you using wireless or wired network connection as it recommends you only use wired or homeplugs.

there shouldnt be any lag at all even for slow connections and slow pc as all the graphics work is done there end.

There is a 200+ms delay in getting Data from America to here, so you click or move your mouse, 200ms to get there, movement is computed and rendered near instantly, then sent back to you, another 200ms. This is nearly a half second delay in even the best circumstances, and it is noticeable, at more busy times in the UK 5pm -12 midnight it's even worse.

It is great though, I had a go of Batman Arkham asylum on an old laptop when they first released it, it was great to see console level graphics on a machine that could never do it itself.

Regarding the hardware this side of the pond, you can use your PC, just go to onlive.com and download the client. You can even use a xb360 controller for windows if you want.

Played unreal tournament for 30 minutes, very good I have to say. Works well, lag was minimal, graphics quite good seeing as my graphic card is very old.

Heat added.

Personally, I don't think the game selection is very good.
