Does it take your photo and then immediately print it out somewhere?

Tvs from Asda are not fit for human consumption.
Have you tried putting some tomato sauce on them?

Please don't waste your benefits on this especially when you're likely to be sat in front of it for 16 hours a day!

Gutted, just last month paid £400 for the 50" finlux. Unsure how this compares though, I think I did have a quick look at the time.

HD freeview too.

Do you think this would be ok for gaming? I see it has a 9ms response time and a fair few reviews are saying 8ms and under.

Saw the ad in the Metro. Just ordered. It may not be state of the art but i think it will be better than my 8 year HD ready sammy plasma.

Is it a smart TV? according to the spec. on Asda Direct it's got an RJ45 and in the deal it says " Get connected to thousands of entertainment channels with ease"

bought one anyway it's worth a punt at this price ready for the World Cup!

That's a big TV for a small price.

I'm tempted.

I. purchased the Panasonic vierra led from b&m, great TV but I would have seriously considered this instead and saved £214 pounds, it may not be the best display but I'm sure at 1080p with an HD tuner it is more than acceptable.

Do Asda take it out of the Christmas cracker for you, or will it still be wrapped in it when delivered?

Possibly. Problems will occur in a few years when the fad dies down and the only place youll be able to get the film is hipster shops (e.g. urban outfitters)

They also do a HDD model that comes pre-loaded with every episode of Jeremy Kyle.

I'm very tempted to get one. For this price however one can't help thinking whether there is anything dodgy about it!! Might order one anyway!

Any decent soundbar deals to go with this? Not expecting much from the sound..

don't forget quidco

can't find it anywhere else online so there is nothing to compare to price wise so all we have to go off is the spec which looks impressive for the price, but I would feel more comfortable if I could see other retailer selling this also
#26
No one else will stock it...this is an Asda/Walmart own brand set.

Anyone got any experience with Polaroid TV's? On the hunt but little apprehensive with no reviews of a lower quality brand etc.

Trust me, you made the right choice keeping the Viera.

Polaroid is an exclusive Asda brand for AV goods in the UK. The quality level will be the same as the budget brands and the entry level models of better brands. I have a Polaroid 42" passive 3D LCD set. Very pleased with it generally. It's a bit rough around the edges with simple menu's and a few minor issues you have to work around. The one benefit my set has is being passive 3D it has to have a LG panel where as other Polaroid models will get more basic panels I believe.

Personally I would tend to go for a 50" hd ready Panasonic plasma depending on viewing distance. That will give a far more natural picture for standard definition and smoother motion plus much better viewing angles. If your watching a lot of standard definition material plasma will be much better.

Just ordered for my parents as they were after a cheap 50 inch tv. Im sure its not the best quality but for what they want it will be fine. And at that price what do you expect.

What files does this play from the USB?

We have 2 cheap 55" tv's and they look better with a seperate hdmi source as presume the built-in tuners are pretty basic.
Cello and Furrion branded - perfectly adequate tv's.

Anyone know what Hz this is?
