The city of Derby has experienced many of Britain's most historical and noteworthy events. In 1717 it became the centre of the industrial revolution with the building of Britain's first water powered silk mill, whilst it was also home to Dr Johnson, creator of the English dictionary and Erasmus Darwin, the grandfather of Charles Darwin. With today's Groupon you can bask in the history and beauty of Derby and surrounding areas such as the Peak District with an overnight stay in a luxury hotel apartment for up to four people. Situated just a few miles from the M1 they are within reach of the city centre and transport links. On arrival you will find a bottle of bubbly in your room to get your stay off to the perfect start and your voucher also entitles you to a half-price day pass to the David Lloyd gym. Your apartment comes with all the facilities you could need, including:

> 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and sauna
> Stylish interior design with quality decor
> Private parking
> Kitchen with a range of appliances
> Flat screen TV with Sky Sports 1 and Freeview
