Just picked up a few decorations that were marked on the display was '50% off'. The cashier put them through the till and that took another 50% off! So I was expecting to pay £2 for my reduced items but was only charged £1. This was in the Colchester Avenue, Cardiff store.

I think he means the £2 was the first 50% knockdown, he paid £1 which was another 50% off

Yes that's right, but it's not advertised as 75%, it's only saying '50% off' on the display. I tried to upload my till receipt but can't seem to do it! Anyway, I've edited the original post so hopefully that makes it clearer!
