The £50 off on a £500 spend is back.

Even though the Terms & Conditions state that it is not to be used for iphone purchases, this is not strictly applied in stores (talking from my experience and many others who have had success).

I ordered my iphone online for collection in store. Then when I went to collect I told them that I want to use the discount code and the staff refunded and reordered. I also used my company discount through vouchers. Unfortunately I only managed to use £30 off £300 spend (as I had not saved the £50 offer before it was pulled off!).

The iphone 6 plus came not only sim free but also unlocked (used 3 sim first to be sure and was able to use EE without any problem and also later changed back to 3. I had to be absolutely sure :) ).

The expiry is in 3 weeks (does not show the exact date though)

So all the best. It is a good 10% saving upfront for any purchase above £500 and not only the overly expensive apple products :)

I used it on an iPad Air 2 64GB (£479) and Apple USB adapter (£25), total £455. Then just returned the unopened adapter (-£25), therefore paying £430 for a 64GB iPad Air 2, no fuss.

theres also the £10 off £100 showing up on mine too,not planning on using any of the threee vouchers so feel free to ask if anybody needs a code :)

Considering that I read out the code from my mobile to the staff for her to enter into the system, I guess not much! But then again if you really get a difficult staff to deal with then I would either come back on the following day and ask some other personnel to apply the code. If that does not work at all then in the worst case I will try other Currys or PCworld stores nearby

Question:Say you buy £500 worth of stuff from currys and get the £50 off. What happens if you need to return something from your purchase i.e. say you return £100 worth of stuff. Do you lose the initial £50 discount that was applied?

I have not tried it myself but from gunark's comment ( #2) he seem to have gone through fine. Then again I think it depends on the staff serving you, most will not be bothered so much I think.

The question was whether they'd actually be able to purchase an iPhone I think, despite the t&c?

If the staff input the code then the system will definetly apply and I am 100% certain (there is no automatic system rejection, if that is what you mean). The code can be used only once though.
The only difficulty is if the staff does not even attempt/agree to type the code into the system, in which case obviously the £50 will not be taken off!

I have a £10 off code for £100 purchase and can send it to you through PM.

About your question on how to get to your PMs: Once you log into the hotukdeals account, look at the top right corner of the page and move the cursor on the top right most icon (which should show you a drop down menu). Click on the 'My Profile' option. Once the page opens see on the right hand side the option for messages/inbox. That is where you will find your PMs. And one of your PMs will be the one in which I will send you with the code :)
Enjoy!

O2 priority codes cannot be used online but you can go into the store with code and order the product for home delivery. There are £30 off codes (for £300 spend) and £10 off codes for £100 off.

Sorry not a ipad owner, so will not be able to guide you there. Usually there is an option on the page (if you open the hukd site on the Safari browser) to open the full website (which is not the ipad version), in which case my previous instructions would work.

So it has to be at the store only then - and if someone has an Amex card they are potentially looking at 50 off from O2 and another 10 off Amex on a minimum spend of 500 - and with a bit of luck it would also apply to Apple products?
#34
as anyone used the code for an iPhone with any success

The O2 priority code from the app has to be used in store (I have explained it in my post how I ordered online and used the code in store by refunding the online purchase and repurchasing using the code in store). And this was an iphone 6 plus 64gb. There was no problem.
I was better off using my company discount vouchers (7%) which gave me a good discount in addition to the code that gave money off :)
I was not aware of the Amex offer then. But it will be good for anyone who has Amex and has not got access to company discount schemes.

Yup thats will be me as one example! (I went about as expalined in my post and got an iphone 6 plus 64gb for my OH). I have not told her of the discount I managed to get. I assume she thinks I paid full price;)

Shame the iPhone 6 in 64GB isn't in stock - hoping it comes back in stock before the offer expires.

Can you buy currys gift vouchers with the code?

Currys aren't answering the phone zzzz ..... Can someone confirm that a £100 reduction on a laptop down to £499.99 doesn't count as "an offer" in Curry's mind. Ie it must be in conjunction with a 10% offer etc before they refuse the code ? Thanks.
