just been to Sainsbury's and yes the deal is on all baby toiletries. Stocked up on some great deals, such as Huggies Pure wipes 4 for £2.50 and Johnsons Baby shampoo (the big bottle) for £1.24. The Sainsbury's I went to didnt have any major boards/signs/POS up showing this.
Heat and rep added to OP
Thanks

OMG I've just come from Sainsbury's & I completely skipped the baby aisle as I didn't really need anything, but at 50% off I would've stocked up lol. Never mind!

Thanks OP. Heat & rep added

I agree, baby wipes. I just bought 28 packs of sainsburys own-brand when they were on BOGOF, saved mea lot of money. I found that all baby wipes do the same thing, so these are good enough for me, and nice nad cheap (but then again some mums swear by the sensitive ones, so who knows what will work for you?)

Also (obviously) nappies, but you won't be able to get too many until you know which brand you 'like' (ie which doesn't leak!). Similar advice for nappy rash cream - I like bepanthen, but there's also sudocrem and kamillosan that other folk swear by.

Having said all that, Sainsburys have a very good returns policy on nappies (or at least my local one did for me), so if you did stock up on one brand then find out you don't like it, you can probably swap it for another brand.

Also get a few packs of cotton wool pads, and perhaps 2 shampoos and baby bathtime stuff (my baby is 7 months old and I'm still on the first bottle of each, despite bathing every day!)

There's no point in buying talc, as it's not recommended to use it. If baby moisturiser is on offer you might find a couple of tubes of this useful.

HTH, and good luck!

Wipes, wipes and yes, more wipes.

Just bought loads more. You're going to use them, so if you can, get them while they are as cheap as this.

Also Infacol is half price, normally over £3 a pot. We used it but we've been told it might not actually do anything but it made us feel better, when your 1 month old is screaming her head off, you need / want to do something.

Thanks got myself a load and used a 1.00 of when you spend 4.00 on baby toiletries voucher that they had sent me.

Well worth it. Its hard to find the offer on the 4 pack especially. I got £30 of wipes (4x64packs at £2.50 each pack) a few months ago and this time I got £50 of wipes- all half price. You will be amazed how much you cant do without them. Go 4 it.

Well that's annoying.

Everything on their site was 50% off last night.

Went to order now and barely anything is, most of what I wanted is back to full price

note that (in store) the cotton wool pads aren't included in the offer (cotton wool buds are included). which is very strange .... as the offer is meant to be on 'all baby toiletries'.

baffled:thinking:

well, update -

I phoned sainsburys and moaned that '50% off all toiletries' should include cotton wool pads (as it includes cotton wool buds). long story short - it will do very soon - so keep an eye on your local store for these being reduced !
