#3
Yeh lol, that's the only picture I could find on the internet of a share size Diet Coke...
the old mentos and coke project... where u drop a few into the bottle and it sprays everywhere...
what fun :P

Now I found a new picture... but the mentos one was better

ahh diet coke, the fat persons tipple of choice, it goes well with their 2 x big macs, 3 chicken sandwiches and x large fries.

i will grab some of this for mixing with spirits as it tastes better than the cheapo muck.

thanks.

So, if you vote it cold you know a cheaper deal???
No, aparently not.
Well, I'll get some but not because I'm fat, according to Brum's sad assessment of diet coke drinkers but because I'm diabetic and also not thick enough to drink slightly diluted sugar.
#6
I know... why do people vote cold in cases like this? This is the cheapest you can go into a shop and buy it for... full stop. If you don't like diet coke... I don't give a ****... it's still a hot deal, and you have to recognise that!

The offer includes coke zero & regular coke too & it's 1.25l bottles & is also availble online...

It is a good deal but if you appear to have an attitude about your deal then people will vote it cold out of spite... I know it's annoying when you've gone to the effort of posting a deal & it gets the cold vote straight away but if it's a good deal then it will become hot :)
#11
They were voting cold before I wrote that, that's why I wrote it...
#12
It's ridiculous the price of coca-cola these days... was gonna say the price of coke... but then we all know that isn't measured in Litres, rather weight...
anyhu, a can of coke can cost upto 80p... well that's what it costs at work... WH Smith

But that's only going to get you more cold votes.... I would add the "50% off" part to your title as people might not know how much share size bottles are & might not realise it's a good saving :)

ie... 50% off Coke, Diet Coke & Coke Zero 1.25L Share Size - Only 58p @ Sainsburys

Cheers for the tip... will do now.

Peaked at 39 degrees... aghh thought this was gonna be my first hot post :(

Your getting cold votes as someone posted this over a week ago as part of an overall sainsburys half price offer post, the site general has way to many duplicate or even triplicate posts

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/131128/loads-of-half-price-offers-at-sains/

Use the box top right to search just to check no one has already posted the deal before........
#18
Fair play... thing is... that post is a general 50% off post, then in a longgggg list it says coke. Plus when you search on here, it brings up random **** about amazon and stuff, even if you type COKE 50% SAINSBURYS. You can't expect everyone to look through all the posts. Otherwise no1 would ever post anything.

The search works well if you just type in the merchant name, so typing in Sainsburys lets you find the original post pretty easy.......

Listing them all seperatly just clogs up the site and you will get a lot of cold ratings just because of tonnes and tonnes of supermarket deals appearing, think thats why the original poster put them all in on the same post which got them the almost 400% heat rating

For those who prefer Pepsi, or who don't mind either.

Then Tesco are doing half price on six packs of Pepsi.
£1.22 for six cans. That's just over 20p a can

Which makes it slightly more expensive than the coke deal at Sainsbury by litre/pence
But having six 330ml cans might be a bit more convenient.

Coke and Pepsi regularly do this offer at various supermarkets but on a bogof at £2.45.
Coke is overdue this promotion. The last I remember was well before Xmas.

picked some up earlier thanks

Good price, very good price. As mentioned its a rip off normally - shame it can't be this price normally.

As to the member who said Diet coke was for fat people... you are a sad individual. Personally I hate regular coke - I am probably in the minority who actually prefer Diet Coke or Coke Light. I actually rate the continental European version (Coke Light) over Diet Coke, but both are good.

Having said that, I rarely drink fizzy drinks these days - no good reason, I just don't.

Anyway, great deal this - can someone now please find me a good rum deal (Not Bacardi - something ala Havana!) :whistling:

Coke Zero is my choice of tipple... cherry coke tho hmmmm
