I've just been and collected 6 packs. No problem at all!

Unlike the usual ghost items, both Currys and PCWorld Wrexham had various Alkaline, Lithium batteries with upto 75% off. There was loads of the Ultra AA 12 packs for £2.47 and the Plus for £1.97. There were also some charger and rechargable battery packs at 50% off.
I even found a couple of packs of rechargables with 75% off. They were putting the labels on when I was having a walk around.

A point to note was the lady on the checkout was suprised at the price i.e. will be snaffled by staff before long.

Looks like they have changed the link! I'll amend the listing.

Definitely available in-store though - I live near a retail park which houses both PC World and Currys. I walked in and picked the battery packs up without any problem (though they were not yet marked down in price at Currys). You might want to pop into your local and have a look.

Reservations are for 1 day, i.e. until end of day Friday in case you can't make it today...!

Great deal. Heat added.

Don't forget PCWorld have 3% cashback for collect and reserve sales on Quidco
Currys have 3.5% at TopCashBack, but this not available at Quidco at present.

buying the 12 pack of AA plus works out about 2p cheaper per battery than the 8 pack
