@psd99

If your after a good and very cheap quality alarm try this:

http://www.saverstore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=20003706&pid=9&tid=5

They have been on hotukdeals before and usually sell for £179.99 but supersave.com have them in for £58.69!! I actually bought a few of them as it was cheaper to buy them like this and just use the extra PIR's and keyfobs:thumbsup:

Thanks! Heat and rep given. :thumbsup:

I've been after a CCTV camera since we had our yard brush nicked last week. Bloody things, the thought of em lurking about makes me want to sit out all night with a 12 bore.

Ordered the GET Black and White DVR CCTV thingy. Any comments on this system would be appreciated. We'll probably need another camera as it only has one which would be going on the front of the house, need one for the back.

Ta for stopping me umming and arring about which one to get and where from!

i personally wouldnt recommend this kit at all. it records on a tiny 64mb sd card which i don't even think will record an hours worth of video!
the normal dvr recorders you get usually have a 200gb hard drive and they record upto 5 days continuously so you can do the math:whistling:

Is it not quite cheap to get a new card with more memory though? That's what I'd hoped to do. We're on a tight budget so I doubt we could afford one with a built in hard drive, sounds a bit dear?!

It does have automatic video starting so will this not mean it'll only record onto the card when it senses movement, so it should last longer? (As long as the neighbours cat doesn't tap dance under it all night, possibly)

Cheers

Anyone know?

Edit: Doesn't matter, I don't even know how much cable comes with it so I'll leave it.

Could try the GET website. It gives you a lot more info on the kits there. :thumbsup: The one you mentioned is this one.
