Massively overpriced gear but if you're a fan then it's a good deal. Voted hot.

am i the only person - great driving aside - that Lewis's personality is somewhat fake (and dull) ?

It could be much worse for Lewis, he could be Kimi Raikonnen! Wow I bet that guy really rocks! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-GiZ57kALGw&feature=related

Lewis Hamilton might be the F1 World Champ but everyone knows Fernando Alonso is the better driver.

Yeah if Alonso got the exact same car as Lewis, same team, same opportunities Alonso would really show Lewis who the better driver is.

Oh.....wait.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha !
Very funny !!!!!!

I don't deny Alonso is a very good driver, but few enjoy working with him which is why Ferrari aren't interested in signing him. He has got one huge chip on his shoulder which isn't doing him any favours, and he could certainly do with a personaility transplant..... only then he would be approaching Lewis' league.

In Alonso's first full season he finished 23rd compared to Lewis finishing 2nd (missing by just one point).
In Alsonso's 2nd season he finished 6th compared to Lewis winning the Championship!
In Alonso's 3rd season he finished 4th .... wonder where Lewis will finish ?

Add to the above that Alonso is also three and a half years older than Lewis - and your comments are just laughable when compared to the facts.

Anyway, good spot OP - thanks.

ROFL - Alonso was in a Minardi in his first season - nice comparison

He was driving a Minardi in his first season. Let's see how Lewis would do behind the wheel of a Force India.

Says a bitter and twisted Scot :p

Hamilton rather than Murray any day mate.

(PS who finished 2nd in the 2007 season? Oh yeah, Mr Hamilton, ahead of Mr Alonso)

He finished second on goal difference.

not expired. What is it with people on this website that expire stuff when it's still available just because they don't like the offer?
#20
Voted Hot for F1 fans but really with all the advertising on it they should really be paying people to wear the stuff.
A sandwich board is cheaper and you can negotiate your own advertising rates - I am currently promoting Bob's Socks on mine but I'm sure the blue-chip boys will be knocking on my door soon to buy space!

Update: Just negotiated a deal for the space on the seat of my trousers with Hot Grapes haemorrhoid cream!

The only thing Alonso could win is a toy throwing competition

Goal difference or not, Hamilton finished ahead of the reigning double world champion in his rookie year in the exact same car and team.

You haven't a clue m8.

Ledge more like, and can't get any truer. He got stoppy because Hamilton got more support and people wanted Hamilton to win more. He has better skills and way way way more personality and chrisma than Alonso anyday. Plus he isn't a sore loser and can win a Championship whilst every F1 chief tried everything in their power to stop him.

End of really ay.

Yes - and he couldn't beat his team-mate then (Tarso Marques) in the Minardi !!

no you aren't.

It's pretty obvious he says things for media to latch on to, look nice but the reality will come through one day.

World Champion or not, It's funny you tell your fans you're impeding my life and I wanna get away from you guys so I'll move countries and the fans still adore him! lol suckers.

LEDGEND! i had enough £££ i'd move out cos of the media, they would be in ur fac 24/7 and yes i think i would be annoying, especially as he's on of the ultimate SUPERSTAR'S of our generation (me being younger)

You may well joke, but;
If you fancy an ex-F1 car, Ferrari do sell them off.
If you have the money, you can choose the one you want.

However. If sir needs to ask the price, sir can't afford it ;-)

Never a more accurate sentence typed on here. McLaren backed Hamilton about 5 races into the 07 season and left Alonso in the cold, hence his dislike of the team (not Lewis although the media and ITV like to make a story up). The english press can't take it because Lewis is the golden boy, but as a driver Hamilton isn't anywhere near as great as ITV love to make out. The real talented drivers in F1 are Alonso and Vettel, both of whom excelled in cars that weren't that great.

??? He didn't get any points either and unlike Alonso he didn't qualify for one race (Alonso did) so if anything Alonso had a better season in the dog of a car.

I expect nothing less from ITV schooled F1 'fans' though.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise people with more money than him and people more famous than him can live in this country easily.

Oh, I forgot about all the football stars as well, guess not many people watch footie these days.

No - Alonso was McLarens' #1 driver, but didn't impress his team either on the track, or off the track.
He placed himself in the cold.

Tarso Marques had a better season than Alonso - both driving the Minardi car.
Marques' best result was to finish 9th on TWO occasions; whereas Alonso's best finish was 10th on ONE occasion.
Hence, although neither got any points, Tarso finished higher in the championship at the end of the season.
I'm really tired of 'ITV schooled F1 fans' who can't work out for themselves how the championship placings work.

While I don't agree 100% with what you're saying, I do agree with you on the team not backing Alonso. It was crystal clear.

And I've had enough of ITV, it's like they were there to cover Mr. Ham and the only reason the rest of the field got talked about coz they were incidentally there...

The fuel/stop/wheel strategies they applied on Alonso's cars last year were experimental at best. I'm pretty sure he'd have done a better job, possibly winning the championship, had the team backed him.
