Try your luck by going through topcashback/quidco and the savings are potentially massive.

why is this cold?
I don't get this site sometimes. Potentially free sky TV and broadband for 12 months (with cash back) and they vote it cold
....yes but its sky!
prices going up £4 per month from August bill
full price for full package is nearly £1000 per year
And after a year or so the box stops working and u end up paying ££ s to third party operators

No you don't. Just threaten to cancel your subscription and they will be round as quick as you like for free. I have done it several times.
well... my lass just renegotiated her package... being brought over from 02, she had phone, bb, and basic tv for £16/month....

End of the 12 months they wanted to up it to £54/m....

i told her to go through the cancel process and shes had 6 calls or so since...

best they would give her is, movies, sports tv, line and BB for £48/month with £50 credit

shes really pleased with that... i would have pushed for more.
Seems like a good deal to me!
Is this the best deal from Sky, or would they be likely to give you a better deal by calling them (as a new customer) and playing them against Virgin Media?
