non in stock has been all week nearly - you need to check first availability,
anyone can offer something for a £1 but if they have non in stock its not a deal

sorry to say this but..............

Also on the argos page: "Please note item 9237513 has previously been on sale at £124.95." would kind of indicate it isn't such a bargain...

No its not a "real" bargain, more of a manufactured one as if you search you'll see its been on promo a couple of times before (I know because I bought one last time when it was £125 and I had a voucher from a previous spend £x promo).
This is a product exclusive to Argos in the UK and one they play price tennis with in order to make claims of savings much in the way that Currys, Pc World, Best Buy and Comet do.....

With any deal I prefer to ignore the claimed saving and compare the product against equivalent products at a similar price. When I bought mine it was the best spec'd one I could find which was suitable for my weight (_;)

I would ask anyone to think twice before they order any exercise equipment from argos. I ordered a cross trainer from argos on December 30 when they had the 50% sale, it is now mid March and i have still not received it! In Feb they told us they were no longer stocking that item and offered us an alternative which we would receive before 13 March, they have now changed the date to 30 March. I wouldn't mind but the whole idea was to shed some pounds which we had put on over christmas and the new year!
