At 14p a coaster it's not bad

Poor deal really as you can get branded ones from scan for less.
The price difference between Verbatim (the best) and these are about £3 , but the coaster rate and having to do them again or the hassle of finding the burn doesnt last is seriously not worth it.

Hard disks are that cheap along with media players these days.

The fear of my media being wiped out by a failed drive still leaves me backing up to DVD (Though not these ones!).

To be honest, the price difference isn't even £3, catch Sainsbury's at the right time and you can get them for the same price or less.

And you're right, hard drive capacities now mean that a 2 TB drive works out cheaper per byte than most DVD-R spindles.

I'm afraid this deal is cold, it's not value for money.

Whilst I respect everyone's opinion on the quality of these to be honest I've been using these for quite a while and out of about 200 I've only ever had one partial failure.

even that doesn't make it a good deal unfortunately.
