I thought 3 have been doing this deal for months? Or perhaps they had it, it finished and is now back? I've never had to pay anywhere near this price per month (after cashback or other incentives) and would never buy into an 18 month contract. I've been with 3 for more than three years now, and at the end of each 12 month contract they give me a better deal. This 12 month period is costing me £5 per month (no cashback, they gave me a £120 credit up front). My first year with them worked out at about £10 per month after cashback. Not voting on this one, because it might be hot for some people needing new contracts - but 18 months....? (perhaps put 18 months in title?)

Three network and their Indian call centre, never again. Five years was five years too long.
Their free minutes deals ain't as good now that other networks offer the same.
Three network and their Indian call centre, never again. QUOTE]

Never had a problem with the call centre staff. Always very polite, helpful and able to answer any queries I have. What's more, I almost never wait in a queue, and on the couple of time I have (maybe twice in 100+ calls), it's only been 1-2 minutes. And anyway, if we really must discuss nationalities, on the whole I find the Indian staff way better than their average British counterparts in call centres (I talk a lot to Indians working for Dell). Wouldn't you agree?

As an impartial looker on, the fact that you needed to call them over 100 times says a lot to me and none of it good!

That's over about 40 months and mostly my questions about overseas calls etc because I travel a lot. Also checking costs of particular non-inclusive minutes costs like 0870. I only phone them because it's free, quicker than searching online and I know I'll get the answer I want. Really haven't had any problems with service or anything else. Hope that answers your doubts...

Lucky you :)When i had issues with my QTEK 9000 aka Exec XDA, they recommended a hard reset. I said, will i lose my text messages and content. No. Are you sure? Yes. Could you ask someone else? Yes, brb. No, you'll be fine.....you can guess the rest......

Actually, I read your post very carefully and was coming at it from the stance of a critical discourse analyst. CDA considers implications behind specific references, particularly those referring to race or nationality. I accept from your response that you were not 'loading' your comment, and apologise if I caused any offence. I should try to be more careful in future...

No one is saying you can. 3 *are* great when all is going well, but when it doesn't they're awful.

What has my or anyone else's accents got to do with it? I am a UK resident, paying my bills in GBP, being supplied by a UK registered (i believe) company so my accent should be able to be understood by the person taking my call. Were i ringing an Indian company and they could not understand me, fair enough but i am not. It's not down to this being a race issue for me at least, it's cos they are, in my experience, delivering poor and inadequate service when i have (the misfortune) to contact them.

I have no experience of other companies, since I left Orange some 4 years ago now. I have a contract with them, but have had no course to contact them.

3 have bad CS, in my opinion. Period

NO, Why should I?
Most Cashback deals work fine. You should check out the Company offering the cashback first. If you can't be bothered, tough.

When Three first started they offered loads of free minutes, more than all the other networks and at a very reasonable price. Now other networks offer just as many minutes for around the same price as Three.

Thought i would add my comments in on this offer- in my opinion if you are uncertain about cashback deals and given the current tightening of the rules offered by most of the big companies (like Carphone warehouse), then this deal is a good one.

However if you are au fait with cashback deals then there are better (cheaper) deals to be had.

In terms of customer service, again in my opinion, when i have had to phone 3 they have provided a reasonably good level of service- their customer service is at least quick and you are not stuck in a long queue. Also I find their minute checking service excellent.

Against this I would state that in my opinion orange and O2 had poor customer service with long queuing guaranteed and as such if the deal was right I would happily buy again from 3.

As for whether this is a good offer....... in my opinion as I have been dealing with cashback deals for the last several years i would pass on it- but that is only because i beleive I can wait for a better deal as i don't desperately need a contract at the moment.

It's a great deal if you (like me) don't like cashback.

PS you get £55 back via quidco (nearly 4 months line rent).
£30 via RAF (2 months line rent)

and a free bluetooth.

Other networks seem to charge £30+ for 500 min's.

HOT!!!

voted hot

for people like me who dont like cashback deals

I prefer something straightforward
